There is a Mexican street food, elotes, which is also grilled corn! It's charred on a grill, then coated in sauce of mayonnaise (or butter), garlic, chili, and Cotija cheese (a bit similar to Parmesan). So good!

I just made some yesterday. Mexican style grilled corn. Brushed with butter and mayo. Add cheese and tapatio or spicy salsa. So delicious!! Yours looked really yummy too!

I had a hard time proceeding once your corn was picked up with a cleaning rag, set down and the rag was put back to cleaning use. But I imagine all the grilling heat helped kill any bacteria.

Reason they didn't use rubber gloves because it has latex that easily melt a little If prolong used constantly... Cotton food grades gloves is much safer than getting burn while also hygiene... U can buy cloth food grades gloves in the market but it more expensive a little...

$3 for a corn!? I'm from Mexico, and I swear to God that you can find in almost every crowded street a corn vending cart. They can be grilled with spices, salt and lemon. Can be boiled and be covered in mayo, cheese and chilly. Or be sold in a cup almost like a soup, also with mayo, cream, cheese, lemon and spices. And I can guarantee you that it won't cost you in most of the times $0.50. Hech, the grilled ones are like $0.90... Each time I look this kind of videos I'm amazed at how different are the prices and foods in the other side of the world.

yeah, grilled corn in Taiwan is relatively expensive compare to other street foods. And this is Shiling night market, which is the most expensive night market in Taiwan, normally you should be able to get this kind of grilled corn with a dollar or two
