This fight is very poetic. Kenjaku is a man who is bored of the world so created the culling games for fun. Takaba is a man who wishes to entertain . When Kenjaku spoke of the merger he mentioned how it be funny if it was a clown . When creating the culling games he created a sorcerer who has the strongest cursed technique , comedian . This was a battle of two trolls , light humor and dark humor . In the end takaba was able to entertain Kenjaku and the both were able to rest .

That's mainly because it was in between Sukuna and Kashimo and Yuji and Higuruma vs Sukuna. It got cucked by it's placement in the story.

The more Kenjaku gets into the routine, the funnier it gets, because it just descends into a zany stream of consciousness that hits like full-auto shotgun; even if some of the jokes miss, the ones that do land hit hard.
