Well I’ve visited it in 2017 and in 2018 and it has changed a lot as well… lots of constructions going on :) but the athmosphere never gets less pleasant :) Amazing airport!

I agree…Honolulu Int’l is very outdated. The old moldy smell getting off the plane explains a lot.

I've been to Kauai in 1980. Hotel Coco Palms Resort. I still have some matches here in my collection from that hotel. I know Maui ( Wailuku ) and Oahu. Been back in 1990, 1996. I love the Hawaiian culture and i like how the Hawaiians reactivate all their ancient traditions. I hope to return one day when i found a reasonable hotel on Maui.

That's a 717-200 for sure! I was on board this flight! And BTW Hawaiian Airlines does not have an MD-80 :D

Wow! Fantastic! I have a friend from Kauai as well! I totally enjoyed it! I love Hawaii! Actually, I was doing a trip around the main islands including Oahu, The Big Island, Maui and Kauai ad well. Kauai is a bit more lush and I like that I can experience the real culture of Hawaii better than on any other island. Also its natural beauties are so well preserved! Greetings from Budapest :)

Power UP To be honest I’ve never flown on any of delta’s 717-200, but just because the awesome seat arrangements of the Hawaiian one and the beauty of it’s destinations I would vote for Hawaiian :)

Actually flaps were used, but it was like maximum 5 degrees or probably 1 I’m not sure :)
