I am the same with you at 9:38 with the inner bowl, i couldn't get mine out of my Encore 806. I did get tempted to get my father to cut the clamp thingy to break it just to get the bowl out to get the gearbox out.

Yeah, the choice of what screws to put there wasn't exactly the smartest. I have yet to do a complete teardown of these units.

From 6:30-8:30 talking about the motor. Mine newer Simpson has just a belt less motor that’s attached to the main bit. It does have a tub lock for agitation I don’t know how it works yet. When it completely dies I will study the motor assembly. Earlier this year we removed the drum on our machine to get to the source of a noise it was making. The bolts were very well seized in and has to replace them. There was a bit of gunk on and around them, crap design, I believe Fisher and Paykel are very simple to take drum out. Anyway I don’t think I will be doing that again anytime soon. I will say as much as I prefer agitators for washing I am highly considering a pulsator model like LG for Simpsons replacement, agitator is annoying to clean, when and if I decide to actually clean it. 😂 And it’s not the best with quilts although I don’t know if pulsator models are any better, yet to find out.

A beltless design sounds pretty clever of them. I don't understand the clutch/brake assembly on my machine, but I wonder if it's still the same on yours. And those screws were sort of a terrible choice for that spot, I wished they'd used something different.

I notice the frame rate is higher than the previous video and why is that? did you change it or get a new camera or something?
