Well, sure. If you jump to the conclusion, the conclusion is clear. Is the chest rising and falling? Is there a pulse? Is the body cold? Is it decomposing? 👍🏻 Vi on Evidence and preponderance of evidence. Again I call for backup: “Science specifically means a system of findings, i.e., a unity of connected findings in opposition to a mere aggregate of the same. But what else than the principle of sufficient reason connects members of a system? The very thing that distinguishes any science from a mere aggregate is that each of a science's findings follows from another as its ground. Therefore, Plato already says, ‘For true opinions are not worth much until someone binds them through reasoning’.” [Arthur Schopenhauer, On the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason, 1813]

@Dr. Powers Well, if you like being a slave to the Christian god (immoral, and absolutely _disgusting_ character, by the by), then have fun with that. I'll choose to be my own free person with a morality separate from that heinous book you seem to love quoting from. And tu quoque, my friend; given you want to claim that atheists "think that life came from a moist rock" when you yourself think that God breathed life into clay (a moist rock _gasp_ no way) to create man. If I'm wrong, please tell me why. The Bible, if that is where you wish to draw your quotes from, allows you to own slaves, beat them to within an inch of their life, and suffer no repercussions if they survive a few days. It allows you to own people as property, that women are property, and that only men are considered people, and nobody else is. It allows people to stone others for being gay, for having sex before marriage, for disobeying their parents. It allows a man to sell his daughter to her rapist. Are these things moral? Do _you_ think these things are moral? They're in the same book you seem to make yourself a slave to. I think that's wrong. Besides, even if I granted you a supernatural being, who's to say it isn't Brahman, or Vishnu, or Zeus, or Odin? Loki? There's nothing separating your god from any others. I also agree with the problem of evil presented here. Either your god isn't all-powerful, all-knowing, or all-loving. You can't have all 3 like your book claims. It's simply impossible.

Nobody views themselves as evil, at least not any more than defining themselves as just the word "evil". This is because "evil" is inherently unlikable to everyone. But the more interesting thing about evil is that its not unlikable because of some of its properties, its unlikable because it is defined to be that way. In other words: "evil" is never something, something is "evil". Because of that nobody at any point of time will view themselves as "evil" at current time because if they did they are in an unlikable state and if they are in an unlikable state its either because of reasons outside their control in which case they aren't responsible and are thus not "evil" or because of themselves in which case they can always change that and have no reason not to and therefore can't be in such a state and thus aren't evil. The reason they can't have any reason not to change themselves is because if they did that reason in itself becomes the justification for being in that state and the state doesn't truly become unlikable and thus isn't "evil" according to the person themself.

When Jesus was invisible he said this to Moses. Leviticus 21 The Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them: 9 If a priest's daughter becomes a prostitute, she disgraces her father; she shall be burned to death. Ask a person who professes to be a Christian if they would carry out the command without question. Point out that any complaint or refusal to carry out the command would prove the person is a liar because the evidence that your profession is genuine is OBEDIENCE WITHOUT QUESTION. ANY disagreement with this command is proof they are not who they say they are according to the commander and chief Jesus Christ. The conversation will end and the professor will be in a crisis of faith. End of conversation.

Always love these false evidence claims. Give me a chuckle. I've been a fool for 50 years, everyone congratulate me. Court cases are not decided on proof, they are decided on convincing 12 people that you're right, and is not contingent on proof, but how well you can talk your way through their thought processes. That's why they have people who specialize in picking joururs, who are the most likely to think the way you want them to. I would say the more religious, the better for the jury since they are obviously easily convinced without proof.

For reasons I cannot understand yet, that line 'he created us to have a relationship with him' makes my blood boil right now. Has this caller even READ Genesis 1-3? God (who was clearly Trans by the way. Identifying as us/we) made man as a pet and said damn, this Chihuahua peed all over the rug for the third day straight. Out of the house with you. Read the last three verses of Genesis 3.

Isaiah 45:7 says God created EVIL. Therefore, according to the author of the Bible, if God exists, he is responsible for everything Evil. That includes slavery, rape, genocide, misogyny, torture, Satan, etc.

@Dr. Powers Dr. Powers/Bouregard Hipplie/Bouregard Hippil please show the medical evidence to supports your claim and I will quote : “Wisdom teeth are a result of the human no longer living to be 900 yrs old”

@Dr. Powers there is no evidence for real existence of any gods. They all have a beginning (starting from the time that we invent them). And many already had the end, when for whatever reason we no longer worship/believe that they are real. Someday in the future, it will happen to all of the gods, as they all belong to the pages of mythology books, with all those that are already there...

@Dr. Powers Correct neppy, your god is too stupid to be the creator of anything, only a really stupid god would get wrong the order of its own creation. So congratulations once again for proving how your magical fairy is simply useless as a possible answer.

@Dr. Powers Too bad that your god is simply too stupid to be able to design all those things. So even under your own standard neppy, your stupid magical fairy that created itself from nothing is too worthless to be an explanation

We talk of Hitler being insane and evil but compared to the God of the bible he'd be classed as a saint ! Not even Hitler would condemn living people to burn in hell FOREVER ! Any person alluding God is love and would carry out such a horrendous act is a true hypocrite. Why do people believe all this nonsense ?
