this video made me feel like there is someone who finally asked if i am okay. I've been longing to hear that. To be honest, I hate myself for being too considerate of others, too kind to other people to the point that I forget about myself. You reminded me that not everyone would think the same or would be so kind to you the way you care for them. Boro boro ni natta. I stopped and they dont even notice. I have poured so much care and love for others but i dont get anything when I needed it the most. I am still doing fine little by little i need to, i want to. Your video hit different haha. I also listened to Yuukis ドライフラワー to help me fall asleep. sending my virtual hug to you. Ty

Your comment just hit home to me... I feel exactly the same, giving so much to others, but feeling like I get nothing in return. I'm sure they are actually grateful, and maybe they do give back, but sometimes it is impossible to see, or they really don't show it. Taking time for yourself, taking care of yourself, should be as important as taking care of others. If you forget to take care of yourself, you won't be able to help others anymore. So please, take care and get better, I'm sending you love and strength 💜💪🏻 ( ’−_−)\(^-^ )
Jadi sedikit-banyak bisa mengobati perasaan ボロボロ aku tadi. Semoga sehat dan bahagia ya, Hitoki-san 😊
"but who's gonna think about u?I think every kind person has been hurt before. That's why I think they understand other people's feelings and try to help them"-- well this made me think whether you're going through a hard time hitoki san :"""""" Do pls cheer up if you're feeling down, and thanks for checking on us! Hope you're doing well.. if not, *reaches hand* よしよし ひときさん。>
It's weird. The more videos I watch by you, the more I can understand without subtitles. It's actually really exciting. Can't wait to get to the point where I don't need subtitles at all!
I am sorry to hear your trip to Spain was cancelled. May you be able to come visit us very soon. Best wishes from Madrid, Spain!

"I just want everyone to be happy, but then why do I end up empty inside?" .. is what I have been thinking for a few years now. This video made me cry [especially when you started singing! You have such a warm voice!!] and I think I've finally found my answer.. It's funny, I came here to learn Japanese but I learned so much more! Thank you. I wish you happiness 😊!
There were a LOT of times that I felt ボロボロ last year, and this one time I really couldn't handle it. It was a pretty scary feeling, like it was swallowing me. But my friend suggested that I go outside and take a walk at the park nearby. I thought it wouldn't help (I usually like to stay indoors), but feeling the crisp air and the sun on my skin, and seeing people exercising and walking (at a safe social distance) was very healing for me. It took me out of that dark mental space for a little while, and helped me revisit my thoughts with a clearer head! Instead of having tunnel vision and thinking everything is doomed. Talking about mental health is so important, so thank u for making this video! Your videos always bring a smile to my face, because I always learn something new. Our minds and bodies work so hard for us, so we have to remember to take care of ourselves too. Take care ひときさん!:)

Hitoki さん thank you so much for making this video 🥺 This came at the perfect time. Since COVID my job relocation to Japan has been delayed for over a year, and I've been having problems with family, friends and dealing with heartbreak 💔. It's been so hard and most times I felt like no one cared about me or would feel annoyed by problems. But even though it has been really tough, I've started to learn how to take better care of myself through things like teletherapy sessions, doing excersice/yoga, playing my favorite games, spending more time with my dogs 🐶, and watching some of my favorite KZbinrs/streamers like you! I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for all of the positivity and kindness you always share which I think the world 🌎 needs more of, and I hope your rainy days ⛈ will soon be no more. 🥰 Hitoki さん, ありがとう!

The part where you asked us how we’re doing took me aback (in a good way) because I could feel the sincerity behind those words. I have been feeling quite boro boro these days but I find doing things like meditating, journaling, running, or listening to music really calms me down. Thank you for the concern, Hitoki-san! I’m a relatively new subscriber here, but I’m glad I found you. I really love your energy and personality ✨ I hope you’re taking care of yourself too 😊🌻

And thanks to your videos i can do what makes me more energised - learn japanese. For everyone who feel awful - you’re not alone, guys, and you’ll get better soon. Sleep and go for a walk daily, it’ll help.
I like the way you speak nihongo because it is not too fast and I can listen to every word that you say. Keep up your good work! I also think that watching your videos can improve my speaking tone so that I can speak like native Japanese :)

i'm quite late to this but still. even though i'm not learning japanese, i still see ur videos because you're so well spoken ! your voice is so nice to listen to and unlike here, you speak so calmly too. i didnt expect you to ask us if we're doing well. it sounded so sincere too, it felt really nice. i suffer from major depressive disorder, so all of which you've talked about in this video, i could understand perfectly, haha. i'm not the best at cheering myself up but i've been trying to (and it's been working!). your videos are one of the things that make me feel better so thank you, and i hope you can continue being active on this channel for as long as you can (if you feel like it! no pressure of course)

What a wonderful video! I am unemployed since winter and live alone, so lockdown has been really hard on me. What helps me is to call friends on the phone, to go outside for a walk or ride my bike, and to be creative without pressure - just writing or painting something without worrying if it will turn out good. Oh, and also learning Japanese ;) I love your videos and want to thank you for your great work! Take care of yourself!! Honestly, watching content like yours has really made a positive impact on my ability to cope. I really like linguistics so I've been spending time just learning little bits and pieces about how other languages function, how they share some aspects of English or American Sign Langauge, and how they differ. Which languages are more word-order based, which are more inflected? How do they use particles or how do they organize kinship terms? I've also found the world of BL dramas. MANY hours have been lost to that new interest. While my work hours have greatly decreased, I am still working (mostly interpreting virtually, but some in-person work too) and I'm fortunate to have some really great friends and colleagues in my field who I have come to depend on.

Talking about feeling drained up, one advice that my neurologist gave me, is to dilligently do one activity that we really enjoy for one hour, every day! Always . every . single . day. And also, we all need to vent out, talking to someone really helps. Espero que puedas realizar tu viaje a España pronto!

Thank you for making this video! I think that no matter how much you like to care for others it's more important to look after your own health first. Lately when I feel really down, sad and unloved I keep reminding myself that no matter what happens, there will always be at least one person that will never leave me: Myself. And deeply thinking about what you can give yourself, always turns my mood around - at least a tiny bit. I guess my biggest problem in the past was that I was too dependent on one person and that kept me from being happy by myself. Even though the past 1 1/2 years have been really tiring for me, I really want to keep on going. I really want to enjoy this world to the fullest once we can go out and have fun again without boundaries. I know how hard some days can be, but I hope that you - the person who is still reading this - will find your way back into the light. The world is waiting for you.

Oh my goodness Hitoki, thank you so much for making this! I honestly think that all of us needed to hear something validating like this, especially us folks that usually take care of others' needs before our own. 😅 Some other folks from the states might echo this, but it's been a really emotionally difficult week here. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and support, hoping this next week is a better one for ya! When I'm really feeling mentally bogged down, I'll put on some really nostalgic music or something that's just important to me, and even pull out an old video game/movie/youtube video that just takes me back to a different mindset. Hope some of those work for you! Hugs from Michigan!😊
