Everyone seems to be so excited about dimissing thought. But thought is actually the most fascinating thing. I'm not so much interested in what is before thought, but what is thought. It's the most amazing thing in the universe.

The Whole never lost it's Wholeness in any case, it is not possible. Even the missing parts are still part of the Whole.

Duality is not a dirty word, nor is the "concept" of pure awareness. Pure awareness is beyond our current contaminated awareness. So pure awareness is an appropriate term. But in pure awareness there is still perception of simultaneous oneness and difference. Non-duality is not pure awareness, it is a "concept". It is also self aggrandisement. To attain pure awareness one must understand what is the object of purity. The object of purity is both dual and non-dual, dvaita-advaita.

Another way to see it is that the Whole is ok with His missing parts. Because they desire to be missing, or separate. They actually wish to forget about their actual being, their reality. They wish to enjoy as separate. The Whole is ok with that because each has his free will. One cannot force love. The Whole cannot force the love of It's parts. It must come naturally. When it does, just as a lost child is accept by it's father, then the Whole will accept back the part, when the part desires.

This is part of growing up , this is normal to people, consciousness wake people up naturally at different times, people who are not attracted to this are the people who's already woke up , it goes to show what state of consciousness most people are ,Imagine a 5 year old on you tube making videos and charging money to express the realization that we are all in space , unfortunately we don't hear the actions of the people who already reached that level in consciousness instead let's make money

We are separate, although the Whole is existing. It is now so shall it be. It is not illogical because it is presently going on. I may ask the non-dualist to explain how Wholeness became separated in the first place? If Wholeness is or was Whole, how has One become many? This is illogical. The answer is simultaneous oneness and difference, dvaita-advaita. Although we are spiritually the quality of God, we are a tiny spark. God is the fire, we are the spark. Where is lack of logic?

Firstly I am not admitting to non-duality. There is duality between us and other people, also between us and God. Although everything is the energy of God, including us, we are still separate. To say we are one with Him is wrong. It is fear of spiritual identity and a fear to accept that someone is more powerful than I. Therefore spiritual responsibility is cast off by saying "we are one", or "I am God". Although I am in God's quality, I am not in His quantity. dvaita-advaita. It is a fact.

@Belle19700 I would think, at the age of 61 one would have better things to do than lashing out at random 15 year olds on youtube. Especially if one can walk on water, or blow oneself out of one's mind. But i'm only 28, so i guess i still have some lessons to learn too.

I am not denying unqualified brahman, it is there, but it is only the undifferentiated glare from the Lord's transcendental form. Some like to bathe in it the "light", others like to relate to the person from which the light emanates, from which everything emanates. One cannot factually merge with the brahman effulgence. One always remains individual. We should take lessons from realised sages on these subjects and not from upstart speculators such as Jeff, lest we are misguided.

You have pointed out the foolishness of non-duality. You and I are actually fundamental beings. The Whole, although we are a part, is the Whole Itself. We are a part. To pretend we are the Whole, ie God, we have to deal with our missing parts, which makes us not Whole. To us this is a problem because in fact we were never the Whole. Only the Whole is the Whole. Since we are a part, to connect with the Whole is our perfection. The missing parts are the concern of the Whole. He is ok with it.

It is illogical to think we are God. The source of everything is different to the individual. We are finite. The source is infinite. If we are both God then why communicate. God should know. My evidence is brahmano hi pratisthaham (Bhagavadgita 14.27) brahmanaha = impersonal brahmajyoti, hi = certainly, pratistha = the rest, aham = I am. Sri Krishna says: “I am the basis of the impersonal brahman, the resting place of the brahman effulgence”. cont..

Or so they say indeed. Neti neti is just that. It explains nothing. Nothing is an ideal concept. It's word jugglery just to attempt to nullify their own existence and the responsibility that comes with it. Really they are fooling themselves and their followers. If one desires to be cheated then he will find a cheater as a teacher. This man is a cheater because at the root he is trying to escape the responsibility of being a tangible being of individual significance.
