We did this in Canada, and it boosted the bar industry. People want to go to the pub, they just don't want smokers around.

There's no smoking in pubs and restaurants in Northern Ireland. You can have a smoke in the beer gardens. No smoking outside the hospitals but people still do. I thought it was the same in the rest of the UK.
