How does this guy know what is happening at Chelsea. Also I think Clearlake may be in a worst position than Boehly and his two partners who have 39% combined. This is their own funds invested whereas Clearlake has investors and a Board to answer to. Those investors do not care that Eghbali wants to play football manager. Investors and Boards of Directors hate uncertainty, instability and they expect to see profits. They will feel the pressure the longer this remains in the media.

Say what you like about Stefan, but he's infinitely more knowledgable and more objective than the likes of White and Jordan and the majority of the UK media. If you bothered to actually listen and interpret what he's saying, he's not attacked Chelsea. He's not claimed to have seen things he hasn't or know things he can't possibly know for sure before they've been publicly released either(like some). He has gave some opinions about what might happen based on how the PL have acted elsewhere, as well as the EFL and UEFA on similar issues, because he was asked to by talkSport. He's been more accurate about what the independent commission has said about the decisions they've come to already on other matters(Everton, Forest etc), because he's read the documentation properly, he's constantly correcting Simon Jordan(who tried to mock him by saying 'I don't spend all my spare time reading every rule like some'). The whole point of having him on is that he has genuine insight into how these things work. Some of this is new territory though, the independent commission included and they are learning as they go along. The PL themselves do not have a good track record for consistency or transparency, so how can you accurately predict what they are going to do 100% of the time?

Borson has admitted on air that he isn't enough of a risk-taker to understand how the likes of Chelsea and Man City will *attack the rules* (it's much easier to tell clubs how to comply with rules). Borson was absolutely wrong about Leicester, because he also isn't creative enough to understand how clubs are attacking the rules. Borson is almost always wrong, or reactionary.
