I've noticed something interesting: a particular breathing technique involving inhaling a significant amount of air (similar to Wim Hof's but slower) triggers my tinnitus to become louder for at least 30 minutes or more. Some might suggest that this effect is due to increased blood pressure resulting from that type of breathing, but it is actually the opposite. I have measured my blood pressure several times and found that it is lower immediately after breathing as well as 30mins later. Could it be that my blood vessels become slightly more dilated, causing the tinnitus to become louder? I would appreciate hearing your opinion on this. Thanks

Can’t wait for Susan Shore’s device. She just published her results for clinica trial 2 and they are pretty great! They actually reduced tinnitus loudness not just promoting habituation

Although I am in an early stage of recovery, videos like this from Treble Health provide the hope & motivation I need to continue towards habituation. As Dr Ben says, “this is a marathon” so I have to be disciplined & patient.

That's called tinnitus masking used in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy. The exact tone and frequency is replicated by the means of an Audiometer. Next is getting used to the tinnitus is Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy.

For sleeping try crickets or swamp nature sounds that have crickets, even on a really low volume it completely muted my tinnitus
