I’m wowed by your episodes again and again and again Dr Shefali! Every time I listen to your episodes there is a new ‘tool in the bag’ for me to work on…I related to both parents and I learned a lot from their experiences(…) I’m so grateful to you for giving your time and energy to help so many of us have a better ‘parenting’ experience in this world ❤️👌🙏

This podcast is gold! Loved it...perfect timing to tame our inner critic and let go of seeking validation and just own our authenticity unapologetically!!!❤

Thank you so much, again, for these podcasts, Dr. Shefali. I love it. This inner critic resonates with me, and it is very helpful to see these strategies to manage our inner child and how they work in the brave and generous guests that shared their personal story with us❤

So this week I was listening to this amazing podcast at the car wash. So apropos....our past conditionings need to be cleaned out of ourselves so to speak. Our inner critic, small selves can keep us back from growing up. Dr. Shefali I remember asking many times when I first started to listen to you, when will my inner child calm down and you had said it eventually gets quieter and quieter...thankfully as I have grown she has gotten ready for this moment in time being self assured and confident.

I am definitely the people pleaser. I will do things to find approval and love. I will . to to do to make everyone like me. I cant say anything if i need to disagree. Ill stay quiet in my head and smile. 😢. I truly fear losing

How can we practice this without you because that's exactly what I need I like saying you have a right to your own conditioning and insecurities
@doctorshefali2 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing! Practicing acceptance of others’ conditioning starts with self-compassion. Remind yourself that everyone, including you, is shaped by unique experiences. Acknowledge insecurities without judgment, and be patient with yourself as you grow. 🌟
