I just put one of these on my 9125. Magnetic mounts and I did grey/black paint. I also put madvan wheels on it and all metal oil shocks. It’s so fun! 👊🤘👍👏

Nice! Sounds awesome. I considered magnetic mounts too.

That body turned out really good, I’ve been thinking about this body for my lunch box, something different 👊🏻👍🏻

Uhh, yeah, that could look cool. I think they have a model with the Unimog on one of their newer Wheelies. But a LB Unimog could be cool.

That's the only trouble with 3D printed parts, some are stronger then others. I've been tinkering with one for a while and still learning how to get the parts to print better. The Unimog body look great, good Tamiya supply all in the bag and not like some body kits come in multiple sets.

Hi Mal! Yeah, some hold up better than others. The material used for this one seems a bit brittle. Not made for impacts 🙂 And yes, everything needed in this package, but Tamiya also makes a lot of the stuff available separately. But great they also make these packages. Easier to buy.

Great job on the body, Mikael, it looks fabulous - all that hard work and eternities payed off! Nice that you managed to get the new shocks mounted better. It will look great on the trails, looking forward to seeing how it actually preforms. Have a lovely Sunday evening my mate! :O)

Thank you, Mark! Yeah, took a lot of eternities this one. Looking forward to the un-cut and un-paint of the little Fighter Buggy body 😅 Will only take 2-3 eternities. So that’s good. Well, about the performance. It feels just like a stock stiff minus-turn-radius CC-01 😅😅😅 Hope your Landfreeder is still in good shape. Probably tuned better than this one if I know you right ☺️

You've done a fantastic job on the body Mikael. I'm very impressed, even if it did take 10 eternities 😄👍 Now you need to get a "Ready meal" tub and make some inner fenders 😀👍👍
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Ha ha, yeah, this one did take quite a while. With the cutting, masking, about ten layers of paint, stickers, plastic accessories. I could have build four or five CC-01 chassis’ in that time 😅 Well, you know how it is. At least I didn’t film it all, then I wouldn’t be finished. Ahh, yeah, this one could need a lot of work. But I think I am finished with it for now. I’m ready to return to work on my beloved buggies ☺️ ‘Ready Meal’? Was that the one you used? I have to try it myself one day. I like the idea. A good meal and then some wheel arches afterwards 😅🙂

Ahh, ‘Ready meal’ ... must be a term for any meal that is ‘ready’ to eat, not a particular one ...

i got the same body, put it on MST CFX chassi and worked wonderfully, tho i modified mine later to have a deep bed! i went with a dare military green. Tamiya Unimog body si so small and cute! (compared to my TRX4 Sport!
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
Uhh, I bet that MST, from what I’ve seen, works better than all the Tamiya CC’s. I would love a deep bed for this one too, but at the moment it’s just gonna stay like it is.

Hiya Mikael. Ha, Ten eternities later, that made me laugh! I know what you mean with some of these bodies. You have done a magnificent job on it though so worth all the effort. I'm still wondering if you might as well stick with the trusty Tamiya plastic CC-01 with the wheel arches. The metal one does look quite cool though. Very nice video as ever my friend. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I'm just off out RC'ing in a bit and deciding what to take. Cheers for now :-)

Hiya Pete! He he, yeah this one took a while. I think I soon have to paint a little one-color buggy body, just to relax a little. Alas, I still have my clear Porsche body sitting and grinning at me 😅 he he, yeah, the CC-01 chassis would be a much better option. The black chassis, sun-body and wheel arches blend so good together. But that’s why I opted for the standard mount holes in the body. So I easily could fit it on a stock CC-01 (if I ever rebuild mine or get another). Well, at least it looks better than the Unimog mounted on the CR-01. But then again, that one looks so weird that it is almost Tamiya-cool 🙂 thank you Pete! Uhh, lucky you. Sun is shining too here and I would love to go RC’ing too. Cheers my mate.

What's the softest oil you can get to put in the back shocks?
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
I have some really soft. I might try it, but it’s the springs that are hard too.

Hey are you going to get the cc02 version of the unimog?
@NordicRC3 жыл бұрын
No, red wheels not my favorite and now I already have a unimog. If they come out with a Toyota some day I will be tempted. Or if I can’t wait I’ll have to get a body set too (but I think the cc-02 is already a bit overpriced, compared to it’s design).
@bradkalman23533 жыл бұрын
@@NordicRC hey you have the other one why not to have that one and constantly check their site to see if you can get one on sale cuz that sometimes happens we can get it cheaper from them then hobby stores.
