I know my response is late due to the overwhelming amount of comments. Martha, you have my deepest sympathy. It's not easy losing a loved one. Always remember to be strong, and courageous no matter what happens. When I make videos, it's not just standing in front of a camera to share a recipe, it means so much more to me. It brings so much joy and satisfaction to know that I touch the lives of so many. And I want to say Thank You.

Hello! New subscriber and I love making sweet potatoes. I usually don't cut them up before, I clean and boil skin on and then peel and cut to bake. My sauce consists of butter, brown sugar, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon but I also usually use a liquid like orange juice or pineapple juice along with a little zest AND syrup. It is sweet, but amazing. Love your personality. I started at the turkey video and came to this one!

Honey, it's all the same had you just spread the ingredients over the potatoes. Stir halfway through. Done. The potatoes create their own water. Excellent southern recipe, so easy to make.
