I have a suggestion for the afk tree farm for regular logs, WITHOUT ANY CHANGE TO THE FARM. Just setup a macro to right click every few seconds or so. You would still get the occasional stripped log, but the majority would be normal wood since in that few seconds you would have already chopped a few logs with your efficiency axe. If you time it perfectly you could get only a few stripped logs per session, but probably due to server lag few more may creep in.
@Nythos_3 жыл бұрын
You have to right click at a pretty precise time, after you chop the first log and before the second.
@JustaGuy_Gaming3 жыл бұрын
@@Nythos_ I was think some pistons might solve that issue, though it would complicate the redstone massively to do so. Have either the tree pushed down or maybe a block pushed out where the second block should be just to give something to place the sapling against. Have it pulse out when the tree is chopped down. But again it would take observers, pistons and a lot of work.

If you use a haste II beacon, you can punch out 5 logs per 12 seconds. If we assume it takes 3 seconds to grow a new tree for 5 logs/15 sec, you're still clearing 18 stacks of logs per hour, punching them. If you also use a regeneration beacon, you can go overnight with this farm. A 12-hour session will fill up 8 full shulker boxes of bloody knuckle-punched wood. Slap a moss-powered bonemeal farm to it and it's totally self-sufficient. This is a super cool design. TNT duping would really only complicate things and give more room for error here. I'll be building this up myself, thanks for the idea!

Wow, you really delivered on cramming all that redstone nicely in that building! What a great log farm too. What about sorting all the planks, slabs, stairs etc? I think it could be done with the system as is if you put them into the filters with their respective wood type. A general item dropoff system somewhere above the minecart track could work with that.

For the observer piston thing it’s because if you place it the observer will see that you placed a block which will activate the loop. For the piston one of them sees that the observer is pushed there and the one being pushed sees that it’s being pushed and it creates a “double” loop.

If I'm not mistaken a cake would fit the description of a comparator outputting block at 9:23, doesnt have an inv so cant be sucked and not pushed by slimes (this one not so sure might break it or something nonintuitive) In my own creative world I use cakes a lot as a comparator block, I feel they do most of the things that cauldrons cant while lacking in the things cauldrons do well, so they make good opposites in certain scenarios.

If it were me, I'd probably AFK with an Autoit script to hold the left mouse button for a few seconds and press the right mouse button to plant the sapling. That way you aren't stripping most of the logs. Of course the rates would reduce slightly. Also a haste 2 beacon would be a great idea.

But... Would that work? I mean trees take a random time to grow with Bonemeal, so the one time you chop two logs in succession, you can't plant the sapling anymore, because you'd target the log 2 above the dirt, instead of 1.

I love when industrial farms have special buildings built around them! Big eye bay is sure looking great

Hey TNT, did you know there's Tango dupping in KZbin? You can just open a Tango video (any will do) in multiple tabs and BAM! Extra Tangos, for the cost of one!
