It _is_ with a cheat item (hemp milk - sets tear rate to the hard cap) and some insane damage stacking (polyphemus + magic mush/cricket's head) but yeah it's pretty damn insane

the stun prevents dummy from healing for 4 frames, so it's 10k dmg in 4 frames that broke the dummy

Original reference is indeed from Monty Python, but it seems this one is based off the Holy Hand Grenade from Worms, specially because of the timer being the same as some timed items in worms have, though funny enough, the Holy Hand Grenade does not have a timer, at least not that i remember

Tbh i feel like tarnished cain has somewhat of the same problem as tainted apollyon: why would you abyss something that is good, even if there is a special synergy? Like picking up sacred orb to get much better stuff sounds better than just having one of the sacks you turn explosive. Or sacking ipecac when the flat 40 damage applies to the swing to all sacks rather than well...just making 1 sack explode. If tear effect changers, like moms knife, brim, spirit sword, don't affect *all* thrown sacks, then those would really be the only ones actually worth sacking.

What do you mean? Attacking normally doesn't inherit tear effects, just stats. Maybe don't bag Ipecac, but you should definitely be bagging Brimstone and Spirit Sword, they don't give stat-ups normally.

Cain = Statistically strong. Has +1 luck, higher speed, only good pills, starts with a key *and* lock pick, and a 20% damage mod. T.Cain = Once you know a few tricks it’s really easy to get infinite items as him and tuttor items from specific pools, even with randomised recipes. Tr.Cain = The bags do stupidly high damage. Imo I feel the bag base damages should be lowered a fair bit.

The rocks are just your tears, they are not affected by bagged items (as far as I can tell), the synergies affect the bag itself, such as brimstone making the bag shoot a laser behind it or tech x making a laser ring around it.
