I always keep some cut up pieces of scrap carpet for cornering plate steel, works WONDERS!

Right on.Those work best.I have used edge protectors and painter's tape to hold them in a pinch. Canvas tarps underneath work great.

I subscribed as soon as I watched the first video on this channel. When I was little, they asked me, "What profession will you choose when you grow up?" Without thinking, I would say, "I will be a truck driver". At that time, I was a little overweight and had a small belly, and everyone said "This kid already has a truck driver belly, he will definitely be a truck driver in the future". Life doesn't give you what you want; it gives you what you think it will give you. I couldn't become a truck driver even though I wanted to, but my love for trucks still hasn't ended. I think there is a truck driver inside this beautiful woman. She drives the truck so well that for a moment, I couldn't help but think, "They made this beautiful woman drink diesel instead of milk when she was little".

Side kits are nice for steel loads plus they also allow you to haul bulk freight like grain and vegetables. Gives you more options.
@mikealdrich727914 сағат бұрын
When you have a gap between stacks like that you can bridge between them with dunnage so you don’t need padding there. Put straps over the dunnage to hold I place. For that back flap strap a piece of dunnage across it to hold it down.

Next time you get those sheets of metal you could try asking them to keep them together makes it easier to tarps and less edges to cover if they are the same height.

I was just there like 2 weeks ago in canton oh at the same place they took forever to load me. Hey I wanted to give you advice on the back of your tarp to keep it from flapping run a strap over it and when you crank it down it pulls it down and won't allow it to flap because anywhere the tarp flaps it could rip hope it helps for next time keep on trucking hope to see you out here

Hat off to you!! It takes a lot of energy to tarp. I think id have to take a 10 after tarping. Lol.
@bradchandler69673 күн бұрын
They should've put the lettering up nearer the top so it would still be visible on short stacks like that. And just a suggestion-- whenever I had extra tarp at the back end like that, I'd kinda roll it under across the back, put a piece of dunnage ocross it and run a strap across it to hold it down tight to the deck. That way there's nothing to possibly flap in the wind and get tattered. Just trying to help 🙂

@paulcash71353 күн бұрын
I'm leaving this comment before finishing the video. Not sure what your plans are with the old tarps, but if you can save a 10 ft length of one plus the flap, sometimes you get those loads that take more than one tarp, but the length doesn't really justify rolling out both tarps. So salvage what you can off your old tarps to make life and this job easier down the road.
