History can give us more than we expect..the Rookwood cemetery has so many structures that were made to withstand the passing of time..the canal was fascinating ..the markings on the bricks was interesting..hallmarking can identity so much..thankyou.

The town where I work has a large cemetery on a hill with many old world grave markers, when it warms up, I'm going to go take some shots, the downtown area definitely has some Tartarian structures, and there is one neighborhood with many Victorian style houses that are all landmarks. Knowing what I do now about the mudflood though, it seems that some grave yards, even golf courses could be hiding stuff under them??? Who would ever dig there?

Why was Samuel Haslam granted land just 8 years after being convicted for stealing sheep in 1798, for it must have taken some time to be transported to Australia, so then that means he was granted land in less than 8 years, very odd, or was that the standard thing that happened to convicts newly sent to Australia? Why did a group of men on a ship from Canada to Australia feel the need to form a League of Ancient Mariners, where they themselves sailors, or just passengers, and why such an organisation, what were they protecting, some secret of their passage to Australia or something else? Sorry, questions, questions, questions, all very interesting though, loving these videos and the history uncovered, brilliant as always ladies, well done.

I have about 6 tonnes of sandstone retaining walls and even a few old head stones from rookwood cemetery in the yard of my house that was acquired when the road was build and some of rookwood was moved.
