I love the books with the art and movie stars. There are so many more icons I hope there are books for them, like Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn.

There is a Taschen shop in London near Sloane Square station (I went a few weeks back to pick up a book as I didn't want to risk buying online and it getting battered in the post). They seemed to have most (although not all) of their books.

I thought there might be. You're right, the ones I've been in have most, but not quite a the books. Lovely to see a dedicated shop, I remember when Penguin used to have those🙂

That was great Jules .Some of the Tachen books can be very " naughty ""'nuff said " . Beautiful books . I have the " The Golden Age of DC Comics " and another on " Magic " . Thanks so ,so much for the show. The Event . Those book must require a reinforce shelving. I saw one on Rock Album Covers ,alas it was a bit too heavy for my pocket 😂 . Steve McQueen, first saw him on tv Wanted ,he made the shot gun way cool, in the time of the holster toy set .

You have a stunning collection Jules and these Taschen books are beautiful. But they do take up a lot of space. Where do you store your huge collection? Cue for a video? 😅

1000 Record Covers is well worth buying in the smaller format. Also, you probably shouldn't look at the price the Little Nemo collection is going for if you really have lost yours! Fun fact, one of the incarnations of Alan Moore's 'Promethea' is basically a female version of Little Nemo.

I shall pick up 1000 record covers🙂 The Little Nemo I had was probably my earliest Tashen book. You're right, probably quite collectible, I won't look! I believe there is a re-issue available now though.

I’m sure I had that Polaroid book Jules , still quite into instant photography with my restored sx70. Shame the film is so poor compared to back in the day.

They're nice but they are too large and hog too much room on the shelves.

They certainly take up the space but their size is part of their charm. The bigger books make an impressive impact.
