The thing ppl forget is that this song in the opening Big turned the song to basically a scary movie kind of song so the lyrics were going to be vivid just like a horror movie. Nobody has done that before Big Fact!!!not saying no other artist hasn't done they own version

Like Ice Cube said in a recent valueentertainment interview, none of these should be shocking because Hip Hop had a dark side, these are ex dealers, ex gang members, convicts, ex skrippers we are speaking of. Husband has a better grasp of this whole situation

Tasha is not wrong! Wrong - in the 90s, people in the NY biz DID know Puff was doing some shady shit.

this whole situation is like a train wreck I can't take my eyes off of....running parallel to another train wreck of a political situation with a convicted felon and rapist....we're living in strange times...I'm grateful for my spiritual practices and beliefs...thanks for your genuine reactions

One of B.I.G. songs 🎵 before it starts, he's in a phone conversation with Puffy, and he is saying how this woman wanted to defecate or 💩 on him, and he laughs and the song starts.💡

Tasha , I hope you read my comment. East coast, west coast beef was manufactured. This life after, death album came out after Biggie death, but when Biggie recorded this. He was leaving bad boys records which P. Diddy controlled. Why he leaving, why was one of his raps so dark involving children. You come to your conclusion. I am 66 years old. Tupac and Biggie was the greatest I never trusted P.Diddy

Apparently they've never seen the movie New Jack City. He drew a lot of his inspiration from movie culture

Bad boys moved in silence. The music was a cover up and Puffs father was in the underworld, so puffy probably wanted to live up to that.

I agree with her i never heard of this and people like me most time go by beats. When you read the lyrics oh boy😮. Wow this song. Before all this i stopped looking at these people as artists.

I’ve learned there’s a difference between listening and hearing. We’ve been listening too long. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Artists get artistic in their own ways and get extreme at times but we thought it was just s**talking. I’m a heavy metal/grunge chick but I listen to EVERYTHING. East/West cost beef crossed all genres. I also had solid hip-hop friends so I heard the real dirt from them. I watched your reaction vid on this and I feel the same way I keep seeing everybody else feeling, we should’ve known. 😭 Diddy’s on his way down. 🔥🔥🔥

Gutta himself admitted the song was about actual kids on his podcast interview with Vlad ….he said he told Biggie that he was gonna have dudes thinking he was a pedophile by those lyrics ….then goes on to ADMIT to only kidnapping kids for extortion

That was a different era for you but back then you had to go hard or dont be heared dont take the music serious vibe with it and its a song for the enemy and going to the point were they dont think you would go. You have to understand the time and the era of music. So if thats bad what you think about hit um up thats a nasty song. B.I.G was my dawg back then and I hated Pac for that song but its a great song and I still vibe to them today. The game was different nothing like todays music. When they said it it didnt really meant they did it or was about it.
