Tasting Talisker Distiller's Edition 2021 for the First Time

Talisker has such a unique profile like Laphroaig or Glen Scotia. I have tried most of the basic range and my favorites have been the Port Ruighie and Distillers Edition both great drops full of salty sweet briney peat. Great review mate enjoy!!

Great review, thanks for sharing your impression. You have a real flair for describing these whiskies even on just first impression. We might have to settle for this Distiller’s Edition what with the way the 18-year-old price has increased.

Thanks Chris, I'm having fun doing these first impression videos. You definitely get to know a bottle better over time that's for sure. Yeah it's a shame the way Talisker 18 is going, I've yet to try it but at this rate I may only ever try a dram at a bar 😞

I'm a big Talisker fan and even though I live in whisky purgatory in North Carolina, the Talisker Distillers Edition is surprisingly one I can get and it's very nice. The 18 has probably been priced out of my range.
