Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds If you have no coconut. It's great I do it all the time

Also keep the veggie a little bit crisp if they are tender,

Katherine, Goan do not add Sesame seeds in vegetables. It's generally used in Asian cuisine. However It does have a nutty flavour 🙂
@GetCookingNow10 күн бұрын
Katherine, we never overcook our veggies as you end up losing their nutritional benefits. Best to keep them a little crispy, you get to enjoy the taste and health benefits 😄

Here in Suriname where I live those beans are called bonen we cook it same way but too much oil ...can also steamed with little butter
@GetCookingNow8 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for your feedback, you can cook the beans even with 1tbsp oil, but you will need to add a little water every time it dries up so that they don't burn or stick to the pan. 🙂

I would suggest to slit the green chillies & add , so that it is visible clearly , otherwise it looks same like beans.

Neetu, we have slit the green chillies and added them, but we have cut them in half 🙂

@@GetCookingNow Thank you for the response, Size of the slit green chillies & beans looks similar, to avoid eating the chilly along with beans , I suggested to slit the chillies & add , not to cut to the size of the beans.

no good taste, I preferred it, and tasted, but no good at all, tasted like chewing on the grass very honestly speaking, there is nothing special about Goan cuisine And as a matter of fact, Goan cuisine doesn’t even exist. So I left Goan cooking behind and I put some fresh tomato in it, a little red chili powder, and a little dash of garam masala. And the taste was wonderful.
@GetCookingNow8 ай бұрын
Sanju, can't really understand how you can say there's nothing special about Goan Cuisine. Goan Cuisine is world-famous. Secondly even if you sprinkle a little salt on French beans then steam or stir fry them they taste exceptionally good. So can't really understand how you managed to cook the French beans that tasted like chewing Grass. I guess you're used to eating vegetables with lots of Spices where you don't really get the natural taste of the vegetable but end up enjoying the taste of spices. Best of luck my friend, continue to enjoy your cuisine and please leave Goan cuisine alone as it's way too complicated for you to comprehend 😉
@SanjeevanZwade1758 ай бұрын
@@GetCookingNow sorry man I don’t mean to hurt your feelings, but I was giving my real opinion about it. Maybe there are thousands of might like you’re cooking I don’t mean to discourage you, so please don’t get discouraged maybe I am the only one who didn’t like it so when you have more number than one who would like the recipe, you should ignore the one hold do not.
@GetCookingNow8 ай бұрын
Sanju, you didn't hurt my feelings. I just didn't like the way you spoke about Goan Cuisine. I'm open to constructive criticism on my recipes. Because, You can't make something every one likes and that's okay. But I didn't like the way you were running down Goan Cuisine and I will never support it. Anyways no offense taken as you have already clarified yourself. Best of luck my friend 😃
