This is exactly how my mum makes moimoi. With the exception of garlic though. You can’t beat the taste. Very delicious. You did an Amazing job. You learnt from the best.

Please it is not advisable to cook Moi-Moi and other foods in nylons or cellophane bags as it produced dioxins, a toxic substance that causes cancer. Be warned!

I just stumbled on your moi moi video and right away I prepared my moi moi in your own style using foil wraps and it came out super delicious. The only thing I did differently was using water as you said either is good. Wil repeat again till am perfect. God bless. From SA

You did absolutely good with the washing of the beans. .so clean. The bell-peppers brought a lot of colors to it. The addition of stock was perfect. That quantity of crayfish was absolutely amazing, that our bowl was full almost at the point of pouring out. You just brought back old memories I can't remember the last time I had moimoi inside plastic leather. Well done nne I love the end result and I know it will taste delicious

They were cooked on medium heat! Cooking on high heat will cause the bags to burst open

Good day madam I run a restaurant y cook find it hard cook moimoi anytime they do the moimoi opens or burst inside the pot pouring the beans a way n some sides hardly cakes I mean its always watery.

Hi dear. For perfect outcome the first tip is to cook on medium heat. Secondly raw eggs do help in caking moi moi making it firm and not watery, also avoid adding too much water to the moi moi. Last tip use a good quality nylon bags and double the bag. Using single nylon bags might burst open during cooking process. Hope you find this tips helpful ☺

It helps to soften the beans and also it makes the beans double in size but you soak for less it you don’t have time

Hi. Is there a special bag or I can use any polythene bag.? Also, did you put anything at the bottom of your pot to stop the moimoi from sticking to the bottom of the pots?

Thanks for watching dear! Yes you can use any polythene bag and i didn't put anything at the bottom, just make sure you have enough water in the pot cook on a medium heat and keep an eye on the pot to avoid burning.

Lol, those nylons that burst are called “madam sorry” 🤣 The blender make the job go faster. Ohh, the fresh peppers onion ginger and garlic will infused lots of flavor into the moimoi😋 Yesooo, blend in the seasoning cubes to avoid bloopers 🤣 It’s a perfect finish nneoma👏

The beans needs to soaked properly to enable the blending process, but if you have a very strong blend like vita mix you can soak for just 1-2 hours
