Interesting test mate! Lucky that the overcharged batteries did not explode LOL

Gens Ace is one of a few manufacturers of lipo batteries in the world. C Rating is a placebo. The real difference is how old the lithium is. They use the freshest for their own stuff. Ovonic is a subsidiary brand from Gens Ace. It's just using their older cells. There is so much you can tell about a battery if you have a high quality charger. Most people in FPV have horrible chargers... nor do they maintain their batteries.

Also I've never charged a HV to the higher charge and they worked fine.

The only thing you will lose is runtime. They can hold more mah at the higher voltage. That's the only difference. The amount of graphene is these cells is so minimal it's crazy. The IR is a big indicator of battery performance as you noted. All cells aren't crated equal...

It's hard to tell the difference sometimes what really matters to me is if the battery last, so many batteries puff or start to have high IR, maybe you are on to something though, it's going to take a lot more testing, maybe next time dont name the batteries, I see a little placebo with timing, this guy definitely knows some stuff, I just think the lettering is causing him to over think trying to figure out what battery A B or C is.

if he did this test 10 times it would be different every time. I've used all 3 and prefer ovonic for the best bang for your buck. i bought 3 CNHL 6s 1500mah and all 3 went bad within 3 weeks. I won't buy from that company anymore. I've never had an issue with tattu or ovonic. tattu is just too expensive for what you get over an ovonic pack. there is no discernable difference to me.
