RAB offers great “momma bear” options across all its product categories. I think the Kangri provides the GTX mummy bear candidate - everything on it makes sense for most situations.

I do like Rab products and my current Rab waterproof jacket is doing a great job. And thanks for the info/advice on the Rab lightweight packs Sam - I went into the shop and 18L was a little big so I've ordered the 12L from your website. 🙂

Hi ! Thanks for this video, which is very helpful ! Can the Namche jacket be stored in one of its pockets ? Thanks !
@tauntonleisure Жыл бұрын
No but we suggest storing your jacket in its hood. It makes it more accessible and less likely to be damaged. We have a short on how to do this on our channel

Hello Taunton Leisure (and anyone else who can comment on this!)! So: Rab Latok Mountain vs Mountain Equipment Rupal. Any thoughts/comments? Is the Rab jacket worth its heftier price tag, or are they both similar?
@tauntonleisure6 ай бұрын
Hi, the Rab Latok Mountain uses Gore-Tex Pro, a more durable and breathable fabric compared to the classic Gore-Tex used in the Rupal. A better comparison to the Latok Mountain is the M.E Lhotse (uses Pro) or if you dont need the Extra performance the Rab Kangri (classic Gore) is the equivalent to the Rupal.

Is there a serious difference between rab kangri and namche? Which one do you recommend
@tauntonleisure4 ай бұрын
You'll be getting a fantastic jackets no matter what you choose. I think the main difference between the jackets form a use perspective is the fit. The Kangri is a looser boxer fit where as the Namche is slightly more tapered and close fitting
