Well i have a question.. is this a thing that you stick on a drone or its the controller ? in 5:20 that tells you the battery voltage.

Neither. It's just a timer on the taranis. I've set mine to Throttle seconds and a duration of 2:30.

nice proximity there, is there a guide for setting up the 30-20-10 second countdowns for battery on the taranis? I've seen others but couldn't quite find it yet

Thanks. Yes there is: go to your model settings, go down to timer, set it to TRs, put in the amount of minutes/seconds and lastly a little further down select voice. Otherwise it doesn't talk to you. Cheers

Thank you. Well, I'm 27 years old and barely keeping up at times, but it's a process. You get used to the speeds as time goes by. Besides that you'll gain control by practicing a lot, so movements are more predictable. Cheers and have fun!

Very interesting video and flight. If your firmware had blackbox, you would know what happened in the crash and you wouldn't have to film your hands. :) That's what keeping me from trying Kiss FC. A directional RC locator might help also if your battery disconnects. I'm surprised those sheep don't mind. What angles are your cameras at? I want to try flying under my trampoline now! Thank you.

That was some Sharp flying, Sir. I enjoyed it:) I have 2 questions: It is true the RC rate is related to the overall stick response where increasing the RC rate makes for an overall faster response on both sticks and decreasing it makes for a slower overall response? If so, then Betaflight default setting is 1.0 - What setting do you use? 2) What setting do you use for the RC expo rate?

how you get forward if you dont put the joystick forward ?
@TaurusNL7 жыл бұрын
+45llamas its physics. When the quad is angled forward, the thrust is vectored backwards. You don't need to pitch it forward further than necessary.

that's badass flying. I'm gonna buy a vortex 250 here shortly. I've never fpv'd but I've flown other smaller quads. I bought a dx6 the newest version so next is my vortex 250. what else do you recommend I get?
@TaurusNL8 жыл бұрын
Great way to start buying a vortex pro. You obviously need some goggles and a transmitter too. I would go for the fatshark dominator v2 and the frsky taranis plus. Good luck!
@AdaptFPV8 жыл бұрын
+Pieter Bos (TaurusFPV) "I bought a new dx6". Why should he get a taranis?
@TaurusNL8 жыл бұрын
Christian Logsdon I might have missed that. Sorry
@AdaptFPV8 жыл бұрын
Pieter Bos And why do you recommend the V2's over the V3's? I guess that actually makes sense since the only major difference is the face plate and fan. And there $100 cheaper now.
@TaurusNL8 жыл бұрын
Christian Logsdon that's not the only reason. V3's have a 16:9 ratio compared to the V2's 4:3. As almost all FPV cameras are 4:3 so I'd choose the dominator V2 every time.
