Great review! You guys need to watch the 'majorie' lyric video because taylor includes pictures of her grandmother. it honestly gives the song a whole different feeling. She used her grandmother's vocals in the song too, as she was an aspiring singer who never really made it and so Taylor likes to think she lived on through her.

I think tolerate it and illicit affairs are sister tracks. Cause she said in tolerate it closure "I sit and watch you" which is a sign that the narrator is not yet moved on, or can't really move on, just like when in illicit affairs said "for you I would ruin myself a million little times" that kinda connects both of its closure.

There's a interconnected songs in this album just like Betty, Cardigan, and August. Here, it's Dorothea and 'Tis The Damn Season. Their story started as a child, however, the girl partway and went far to pursue her career. Dorothea is from the perspective of the man looking back at their past while 'tis the damn season is from the perspective of the woman who visited her old town

My guess: NBNC is from the perspective of Este’ friend, Este’s husband cheated on her and then he killed her, so the friend and Este’s sister killed her husband and dropped his body in the lake, but they can get away from it because they covered it well and the mistress bought a large amount of insurance that could be the motivation to kill Este’s husband to get the money. This song totally gives me like a “Why women kill” (that Tv series) vibe .

A lot of people are saying Dorthea is about Selena Gomez. Aside from her name rhyming, the way she decribes her (selling makeup and magazines) and how she left town, along with referencing Selena's mom with the pageant schemes line, it all matches up. They've been very close for years lol. Also 2 bonus tracks for Evermore are coming out on December 18th!

the story of no body, no crime: Taylor had a best friend Este, who though her husband was cheating on her. She slashed his tires (thats why Taylor says “His car has got some new brand tires”) and then he killed her. Taylor knew he killed her, so she killed him. Este’s sister helped Taylor, she said that Taylor was with her the night the man disappeared, so no one would suspect. And the mistress had just took out a life insurance policy, so everyone would think it was her (you know, everyone would think the mistress killed him to earth his money)
