This song! This is captivating for me. Their voices together are stunning.

OMG. I agree with you. It’s like they’re arguing with each other in the song while they’re in harmony. It’s so beautifully written and performed. Their voices really harmonize well together. It’s by vm far my favorite song by Taylor (and Bon Iver). I literally sent it to my husband, as kind of a hint, that we really need to talk. 😢 Bon Iver was in a different place but had a camera crew in the room with him, so he covered his face. Aaron Dessner (The Nationals) was on the instruments. He’s beyond naturally gifted. They all make a fantastic team.

I like to think that when hes dueting "so many signs" with her, he's admitting he DID see the signs even though he initially said she didnt give a warning sign. His protective walls cracked.

He was in a different location with a person probably working the camera while she was at the Long Pond Studio with the two producers/ musicians Aaron Dessner and Jack Antonoff.This was during the psndemic and those three git testing done before they got together.

You definitely got all the feels for this song which makes for a great reaction! Loved it! Also, as you prob know Taylor wrote Folklore and Evermore during COVID, and she said she watched so much tv and read books and started thinking that it would be fun to start writing some fictional stuff instead of her own story like she usually does. So these are all songs she just came up with and let the creativity flow!

This song makes me think of the other somber songs like Renegade (Big Red Machine), The Alcott (The Nationals) & You're Losing Me

Justin Vernon (dude in the video) wrote the bridge for this song. That addition to this song completely opened it up. He is one of the most talented and prolific artists currently working in that space. So you are essentially looking at 2 of the more prolific/talented songwriters on screen and it’s pretty amazing

Glad you seem to be feeling better. I loved your commentary about the song and agree with you. Men do have feelings as well and deserve to be heard. This was another great Taylor Swift reaction.

I’m glad you are feeling better! This is a great reaction. The songs on Folklore and Evermore are mostly fictional. She wanted to tell stories but of course it has some personal experiences. Tell the pups the stranger on the internet says hi! 😆

This was recorded during 2020 in the heart of the pandemic so Justin (Bon Iver) was wearing a face covering.

It was filmed during Covid but not sure why he wore a mask. Loved your perspective. This song is relatable bc most people have gone through a break up.

Justin wore the mask in the middle of Covid because there were other people in his studio. Protecting others is just the kind of person Justin is.

This would be a good one for you. It's "The Archer" from the Lover album. I think the only other song you've heard from that album is False God. He doesn’t like seeing pictures of himself, and he says faces are for friends only, he doesn’t really love meeting too many new people because he can’t/won’t be there friend so he reserves his whole self for those that know him.

It was filmed during the height of Covid when there were alot of mandates. That’s also why he wasn’t at Long Pond with the rest of them. He had someone else in the room (camera operator and a tech person I believe) so they all kept masks on. At the beginning of the documentary it states all precautions were taken when filming.
@mmoore445610 ай бұрын
@@kodiluis6564 The idea that Justin is wearing a mask so people can't see him is ridiculous. The band has performed several times in Missoula, Montana in front of thousands of people. We got a chance to say hello to Justin and the band, and he was super friendly, open and kind. The mask is about Covid.

Actually, not everything she does is facts. She's written several songs that were just made up. Folklore and Evermore were done during Covid. In my opinion, he probably was not at his own studio, so he had to keep covered.
