At 40 and having just gotten out of a short-lived relationship, I'll stick to myself from here on out. The relationship was pretty good while it lasted. Went to crap once I met her folks. They weren't close to what she claimed them to be. They're decent, hard working people. The girl ended up being a covert narcissist. Once I introduced the two things those types loathe (responsibility and accountability), she dropped me within 24hrs. I wasn't sad and she was pretty mad I wasn't pleading with her to stick around. I told her if I wanted to put myself out there, I'd have a replacement within a week. She is of no loss to me. I'm more than happy to let go of a narcissistic woman who doesn't really bring anything beyond the physical stuff to the table. Even the bedroom activities weren't so fun with her. She was THE worst lay I have ever had.
