@@slenderman4946 Sights can be configured for different ranges. If it's ranged at 300m, the center of the dot is meant for targets at 300m. If the target is too close, you have to aim lower, if it's beyond that you have to aim higher. In Arma, wind can have an impact on the bullet physics as well, so that could be a factor why TBAG wasn't hitting the enemy.

Medical advise 🚑 Check the handbook especially for healing. Tourniquets are only for fast stop of bleeding out and should be replaced with bandaged and then removed! Correct me if I’m wrong. ❤

youre correct, you can reuse toriquets and they actually have a penalty on aiming and movement. theyre just to stop you from bleeding out when you have 2 or 3 bleeds.

To be honest, I never use tourniquets. They are quicker to apply than a bandage, so in an intense firefight they could be useful, but the downside is that they restrict movement and are only a temporary fix, so a bandage will be needed eventually anyway. If I’m hit I just dive for cover and then apply a bandage asap, usually followed by a saline bag (replaces lost blood) and then morphine (speeds up your recovery).

It's really unfortunate that Reforger on PS5 doesn't have mods. Arma thrives with mods bc the community is so talented and awesome. The cold war setting is cool but with mods it can be anything you like.

The Arma devs are currently having to look for a work around for the issue that Sony have now given to all Reforger players, regarding their VOIP policy. As it stands now, the slightest noise through your mic (even breathing or background noise in your home) will give a visual indication to the enemy that you are within 30m of them, by displaying your name tag on the left of their screen. This is an absolute nightmare for anyone trying to attack a point covertly and one that wasn’t there pre-PS5.

As an Xbox player that was exactly where you are now about 15 months ago, the advice I would give you is to watch as many tutorial videos on KZbin as you can. It’s a game that you never stop learning on, but you really need to understand the core mechanics and strategies of the game to truly immerse yourself in it. Another tip would be to try Combat Ops before going into a large scale game as well. It’s a slower pace and against AI only, so gives you more of a chance to get to understand the basics game.

A simple trick to find the range. If the vertical numbers, Line fits between a soldiers they are roughly that distance away. so if the line fits his shoulders and the number is 6 then he is about 600 meters away.

@ First of all, Iam also a BF player. But, if someone asks me about, which is better between Arma and Bf?. I will say its Arma. Because Arma provides the most satisfaction among these two, if you knew how to play it properly!. It requires more patience and Discipline as it had a huge learning curve compared to BF. BF is semi arcade, whereas Arma is full simulation type game. Simulations will always provides the immersion more than any other genres. Secondly, as Vince zampella said, BF 2025 is not going to 128 players. It will only have 64 players. So some player base doesn't seems to like this. They seek huge war-fares in Bf. Then there going to be mystery mode also. Its definitely going to be a BR or DMZ like game mode with a huge map like firestorm. So if it had a huge map for that mode, then that map can be used to provide a large scale Conquest, frontlines or chainlink type modes with 200 players. It will provide this Arma reforger like huge scale warfares. So people who likes very large scale battle can hop on to that mode inside of regular 64 players matches.

make sure you carry saline so you can replenish lost blood faster, also im pretty sure weight breakpoints for stam/sprint speed is 0-29kg for fast 30-49kg for average and 50kg+ for slow

It’s really not the hard, use landmarks if you don’t know where you are. You have a compass it’s not hard to get out doesn’t have to be constantly at the bottom of the screen. Plenty ps players manage it.

@ That literally goes against war footage I've watched as well as the whole purpose of military rifle rounds, especially 5.56. Given the cold war setting, no one should be tanking any more than one or two shots from the M16, let alone the 50 cal or 7.62 AKs. Christ, have you SEEN what happens to someone when they get shot? Just look at what happened to the ARMS of the dudes Kyle Rittenhouse shot. You're telling me the round that did that, but military grade, against shitty cold war flak vests, is gonna keep someone completely combat capable after 3, 4, or more shots to the chest or arms? Please. Like, you have to realise, it doesn't matter if someone can *survive* a shot or two, what matters is that in real life, if you get shot once or twice by an AK in your chest, you are NOT going to be combat capable NO MATTER WHAT. You'll be alive sure, but either not for long, or you'll be way too weak to do much other than mumble and maybe stumble. Look at Ukraine trench footage. People drop like sacks of potatoes after two or three shots. They might be alive, but they sure as shit aren't shooting back anymore.

If youre having performance issues switch the graphics to Performance. You should have stable 60 and you dont really notice a graphical dip. I play on Series X but get 60+ on performance. Now on modded servers you might dip but its playable at about 40-50 on some maps. It sounds low to someone maxing frames on PC. But you easily adjust to it and its not bad like 30fps feels. Although on PS5 you dont have mods yet anyways.

Im sorry to say but this is actually on performance mode. you can see in the top right the fps. its never a solid 60fps. dips very frequently with a lot of screen-tearing. although its harder to notice in this video

I wonder if PS5 isn't as optimized, or maybe it's PS5 Pro trying to blend quality and performance together. Like how some PS games have improved visuals with 40fps as a in the middle.
