Just to clarify - 202 hit rating for bosses (16%) without an ele sham, and 164 hit rating with ele sham (16%). Are these numbers correct? Also much hit rating do we need for trash packs? Thanks in advance to whoever answers and love your vids Crix keep them coming!

Yeha they're correct if you're Horde. Drop 12 rating if Alliance. And I just stack Crit for trash set. Usually like 120 ish Hit.

Something i never see talked about anywhere, but since the options for bracers are SO bad, i think a pretty viable option (and maybe even bis?) is the shadow wrath bracers. 44-45 shadow damage, but no stats. still seems better than havok to me unless you really need hit. I picked one up for 5g at the AH.

@@ctoad they’re not man, havok are better for pve. Also, ravager cuffs from kara animal boss can roll 58 shadow damage so those are the actual bis bracers for p1.

How about Flamestone for wand slot? I thought if I got max spell hit, Flamestone is better than any others. I wonder why you don't mention about Flamestone. Is it because I'm wrong?

They're essentially the same from a spell power equivalence. However, you can use your wand when you get silenced or reverbed on gruul, and you can't use flamestone to cause damage from wand slot. Also 10 Stam is nice. Lastly black stalk affects all magic school. So it is bis.

1:41 I'm always surprised that almost all warlocks don't know these are not unique. They were in retail TBC until patch 2.1 when they were changed to act like any other gem. You could fill your whole gears gem slots with epic dungeon gems if you wanted to. The text on the item for some reason was just never changed.

Appreciate your content mate, quick question for shadow destro- wouldn’t it be better to get your spellstrike 2 PCs bonus and say, T4 gloves/shoulder 2pce bonus and make the head the last piece of T4 to get? Is the meta gem that important to break the SS 2pce bonus when you can get your T4 2pce without the head? Cheers keep up the great work

yes the meta gem makes t4 helm better than spellstrike helm including the spellstrike 2 pc bonus, but for the sake of your guildies if you already have the helm then sure, do as you said and save the t4 helm for last. its not a big deal

Could you elaborate on blade of wizardry? It sims better for most longer fights than the raid options that I don't have yet. I have had double procs with quags eye that also stack with bloodlust. You end up casting somewhere around half second shadow bolts. I have a blade of wizardry and a stormcaller as options.

If you're not getting Raid weaps, then it's fine. However there's atleast a couple months left of the phase. So tell your guild to stop being assholes and give you a T4 weap!

Nice video man. I agree with most everything you said. BUT I do think violet signet should get consideration as BIS ring when hit capped or with totem of wrath. As far as T4 I imagine crown and shoulders are the 2pc preference for fire destro to keep the spellfire buff with chest/gloves/belt. Why would anyone be running shadow destro in p1? Seems like a DPS loss

Man , I am actually at the position that I have to choose between T4 and Spellstrike Pants. RL decided me to take the T4 legitimately 30 mins AFTER I have crafted, enchanted and socketed the Spellstrike (RIP 2300g). I am actually using my new T4 pants, along with the T4 head, Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders and Boots. I am about to craft the Frozen Shadoweave Chest too, but I am afraid I get T4 and throw them to the bin again. Other than that, the gear is pretty straight forward to get. Just wear your T4 pants to complete 2 set. Then when you get another piece of T4, drop T4 pants for your Spellstrike.

With good RNG from NF, you can pump much harder. But at the same time, you can get bad RGN and hit like a wet noodle.

@@CrixGuides also would stress the importance of icon over bloodgem for the 33% greater up time of SP 155 each time you trinket 1min30, so if you get 2 trinkets off it’s a must. Even if you have to gem +8 spell hit you’re making it up with the +11 stats icon has over bloodgem.
