Next time I’m in Springfield I’d love to stop by your shop and check out a new MP.

Donovan: I very much enjoy your blog. How do you feel about Jerry Callett's SC3, SC3S and his newest 1SB mouthpieces?

I like them quite a bit - especially the rims, they are the most comfortable rim I've ever experienced. However, they are shallow and bright sounding, so only suitable for the type of playing that requires that sound.

Happy new year ! Great videos. I wonder what would happen if you would contact Dan Duncan? I think he would upgrade your TCE to a yet completely another level. I personally spend quite a time on riding the tce ideas. But when i met Dan Duncan , boy did he pointed to me to some of the hidden parts of it that no tce advocate is aware of for some reason. And yeah it's about the tone quality! And it is just so very important actually.

Good question! Who is Dan Duncan?

Very nice! What mouthpiece do you use?
@trumpetthoughts9 ай бұрын
Most often I'm using an AR Resonance. I've also been playing some Callet mouthpieces recently.

I very much appreciate your videos! Thank you for all of your efforts! I’m trying to understand if you are basically using your tongue to “replace” your bottom lip? The airflow is between your top lip and your tongue?
@trumpetthoughts9 ай бұрын
No, not replacing the bottom lip. The tongue is between the teeth, and behind both the top and bottom lip.

Thank you! The video makes it look like your tongue between your teeth, but cover your bottom lip. Then when close your mouth, you can’t really tell what happens. That’s what makes this difficult for me to figure out what’s going on! Your explanations really help.
