Too bad, locked was also the wrong wording. I mean, if you get close to 120fps in VRR mode in every game (that comes out or has been patched), then that would be a reason to buy for me. The current games only run at 70-90 fps in VVR mode, so it would be nice if the Pro could run at 120 fps. But that won't happen...

I don’t have a PS5 so yes I pre ordered PS5 Pro What annoys me is why Sony just don’t release some 30th edition console covers for the Pro as everyone would be happy with that or even a grey themed cover It’s a shame they aren’t even including the normal PS1 style charge cables separately as the scalpers have won I waited and got in early but was just kicked to the back of the queue

Hadn’t even planned on getting a pro because of the price since I have a ps5 (2 actually) the OG and Slim for my son, Series X, and a 7900xtx + 7800x3d pc. However, fuck it. I say be happy either way you have a new gen system most knew that they were gonna release another model but I guess they thought they were gonna stop at the slim. All they have to do is trade there 5 and put a little cash with that depending on where they trade it at and they can get the pro just gotta use your brain. Or keep there 5 and just wait til they have enough money to get the pro I think it’s worth it better graphics , and with future updates even more gaming mechanics improvements on the way.

RT is pure eye candy. It's nice to have, but I won't sacrifice performance mode for it. To me, 60 fps > RT > native resolution (especially when PSSR does such a nice job of upscaling).
