@@Yupp12078 Sure, but he missed a lot of the important tiny bits when it comes to the melody to convey the craziness and self centered-ness of Tamatoa. Lets just say it this way: It didn't sound convincing to me as if he actually told his story. A lot parts were quite kinda flat or out of character. Some of the most prominent spots as I quickly go through it again are the way he says "like a womens neck" 02:02 also "glitters" and "beginners" 02:10 doesn't sound as condecending as it needs to be for the narcissistic character ^^. Same with "fish dinners". It doesn't sound convincing. There is missing the "joy" of having fooled those fish. The second half was much better. Don't get me wrong, he's for sure a great singer and live concerts are really difficult. This was just an sujective comparison to the original with the original intentions in mind.
