I have (or had) a routine of saying sit, then paw, then lay down. I gave treats for each command. Now my chi just goes straight to lay down, and expects 3 treats :) It's too adorable to correct him :)

This morning I went to see some chihuahuas that a breeder had I found her on puppyfind. She had 7 puppies they were two different litters and they were 4 weeks old and one 8 week old. I liked the blond one so we put her on hold and I’m extremely excited to bring her home soon!!

Nora matuszewski lol, I have no idea why the plant fell just then but it was funny timing so we had a good laugh. Your CoCo sounds more like how Margo was when I was working with her. She really didn’t understand at first. Just keep working with CoCo a little bit every day and see if she eventually gets it. Then once she does start do it correctly, keep practicing every day with high value treats so she doesn’t forget what she learned. 🙏🏻 Sometimes I tell Margo in a sweet, loving voice, “come on Margo, you can do it! Rub those 2 brain cells together!” 😂😂

Hello, I think if you teach them to use a litter box from the time they’re puppies, it should work just as well as potty pad training... AND litter boxes are probably more echo friendly so I would say YES!! Go for it 👏🏻

She's a good girl.💖 Dempsey decides in the moment whether he's going to sit or lie down, so obviously I am a very good dog trainer 😬 He snuck through the fence today and invited himself to my neighbour's barbecue. I am ashamed ! He's anybody's for a treat. The little 2 year old gave him some sand and I swear he ate a tiny bit so he could get the sausage. He is one of the boys when he is in their garden and runs around playing with the kids.( I think he laughs , but Moya my daughter told me not to tell anyone that or I will have to see a special doctor!) Oh my!! Did that plant fall on it's own? What a champ Mila! Has she watched other sweetie pies sit on command? Fastest sit in the west! I've never used a fist as a hand signal but I see the value while 1 handed with the chicken. Very good! I've always done the typical palm up signal with treat on other hand. It would definitely be a bit more work to use both to get them to sit back with treat in closed fist & signal with other hhand.Yours seems tailored to sweetie pies 💕. Great tutorial. Thank you. I keep treats to a minimum as best I can. I know it’s hard to resist their sweet little faces when we’re eating and they ask for a bite but it’s healthiest for them to eat only natural treats such as apples and carrots. Congratulations on getting your sweet little baby ❤️

Well, you can try mine: www.SweetiePiePets.com however I won’t have any puppies available for a few months. If you’re in a hurry, you can search for puppies on puppyfind.com. But be careful because puppyfind is a classified website so anyone can advertise on there. The cheap ones are usually scammers but you would need to do your research on any of the breeders listing puppies for sale even on the higher priced puppies. It’s a great tool to find puppies for sale but still do your research on any breeders before sending any money. It’s best if you can go in person.

I have two PERFECT little Sweetie Pie Chihuahua’s 🐾🐾that we got from Kelly ( LuLu 3 years ago, and Lemon 2 years ago). So admittedly, I’m biased. But I looked for 6 months before choosing on a Sweetie Pie. I do highly recommend getting your baby from her. My husband and I went to her house each time to pick up our new pup. She is the real deal. She is knowledgeable, and really loves on and takes great care of the babies. I can’t imagine a better person (well, family!) to nurture a little pup from birth. I’m sure there are other people who do the same (though guessing from my search a few years ago, there are not many). And you likely know, it’s EXTRA important for tiny Chihuahua babies to be handled often and carefully in their first home💓, giving them positive experiences in those formative first weeks and months... Actually, forever, but you know what I mean 😂. I could go on, but my two cents is to get your baby from Kelly. If you can’t do that, be patient and ask to FaceTime with owner, or have them send you a current video, so you can see pup. And be sure to see the parents! I’ve known of a few family’s who got a tiny baby “teacup” chihuahua puppy, only to have it grow, and grow, and find out they didn’t even get a full bred chihuahua! I have a friend who’s Chihuahua turned out to be a chi-weenie. A darling chi-weenie! They love her of course, but it’s something else to watch out for😉

I do have puppy training videos. It’s not necessarily specific to their age but you can start at any age. Just keep in mind a six week old puppy is very young, so it will require lots of repetition, patients, and encouragement. Best of luck to you and your sweetie pie. 💕

Cute Chihuahua oh no, what a naughty boy. He shouldn’t be growling. You need to train him you’re the boss of him and not the other way around. If he growls, tell him firmly “NO” and then pick him up and hold him upside down like a newborn baby until he stops struggling. Eventually if you’re consistent he will learn he is not the boss of you and is not allowed to be mean to you.

My teacup Chihuahua is trained outdoors, but he will sometimes still smell and pea in house. And type of flea medicine for one that weighs 2 pounds, I don't see any but he bites and scratches slot

Sandra Steele naughty boy 🙀😂 Regarding flea medication, I don’t like to use chemicals so I buy food grade diatomaceous earth which is a natural product. It’s a powdery substance that you can just pet into their fur and it kills fleas. If he’s itching a lot and you don’t see any fleas, it could be something else. There are other conditions that cause itching. You may want to take him to the vet for a skin scrape test if he’s still scratching after asking flea treatment. Good luck to you 🙏🏻👏🏻
