Worth knowing that the song is not specifically about religion, it's aimed at a broader theme of authoritarianism. Thus the lyrics are about how to deal with corrupt authority figures, whether they be teachers, priests, officials or others in power. The uplifting parts for me are when the power structures are revealed to be imaginary, then at the end when the solution is simply to smile at your oppressors and refuse to be swayed by the social-construct power influences. It's actually a message which conforms quite strongly to New Testament teaching, if I understand correctly. I am staunchly non-religious myself, having had pretty much the scenario in this song happen to me as a youngster. It speaks to me very directly.

I'm addicted to your reactions, you guys just look so blissfully happy! I love you get straight in to it, no faff at the start. Think you could add another 20-30s at the end to gather a few more thoughts or observations, I much prefer a shorter video (please don't go all Vin & Sori on us, with respect to those guys) but after seeing your joy I would like to ride that enthusiasm for just a tad longer before I go on to the next video. Just an observation. (also, I'm a fan of checking out the lyrics to confirm the meaning of the song, you don't have to read them out but a cursory observation on the meaning of the song would tie it in a bow for me)

You already know guys, another great reaction LOL 😄😄 Teacher Teacher was the 6th Jinjer song I ever heard, of course I loved it the first time I heard it, especially near the end when Tati sings so beautifully, "Your idols came to me, throwing shame on my face..." As far as a future Jinjer reaction, I'm gonna suggest an older Jinjer song, and that song is No Hoard of Value (official lyric video) that song came out in 2013/2014 and it's a phenomenal song. It's a shame that so many reactors do not react to this song, I think it might be because it's a lyric video, but it's done very well. The song has to do with the coal mining industry in Ukraine. Ukraine was at one time and still might be the second largest producers of coal in the world. Fun fact, Jinjer's "logo" is actually a drill bit used for mining coal. Keep up the great work Leo and Erika, and you already know, stay Metal. 😊😊🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶🎶

I love Teacher Teacher, too! As for the latest album, it's very subjective. I love every song on Wallflowers, and so do most of the Jinjer fans I've seen, but I understand not every song can be for everyone and I'd add that for me, for some Jinjer songs, I didn't follow all of the complexity on the first listen (like Mediator and The Prophecy), but I usually end up liking those songs more than ones I liked immediately because it's somehow very satisfying once the complexity clicks for me. As for lyrics, every time I've read Tatiana's (and in a few songs Eugene's) lyrics, I've loved them immediately, no second take needed, but again not all lyrics can be for everyone. I still keep every Jinjer song on my playlist and still love each one more every time I hear it.
