Im a preschool teacher and work in a school where we are extremely understaffed, so it is chaos sometimes when you have an army of three year olds and 1 teacher. One day i had to step aside and change a child's diaper really quick, i had taken my eyes off the group for literally only a minute and kep smelling this awful poop smell. I finished changing the childs diaper and still smelled it so strong, i look over and i see a little girl holding her pants and diaper wide open while 2 of her friends took turns dipping their hands in, scooping up some poop, and "painting" with it on the walls. Needless to say that was one of the most stressful days of work ever.

Today I couldn’t stop myself and started laughing because one of my first grade boys lifted his shirt to scratch his stomach and one of the girls screamed and said “I didn’t come to see a tummy, teacher tell him I don’t want to see his tummy!” She sounded so offended which is the part that got me and since I always ask them “what did you come to school to do today?” And they say “to learn” I think that’s why she was like “that’s not what I’m here for boy, that ain’t learning” lol 😂

i projectile vomited when we dissected onions and my teacher gave me paper towels to clean myself up. instead of doing that, i tried to clean up all the vomit and accidentally ended up spreading everywhere. it did not work. it smelled horrible. the school was short on janitors that day. my class had to move classrooms because of my vomit. edit: i didn’t throw up bc of the flu or because of the onions, i threw up bc i took multivitamins without breakfast haha

I work at a daycare. My first couple months of working, there was a bit of a bug going around and diarrhea, vomiting, fevers were running rampant. Well one child had thrown up and left before I got there. I get there at the end of nap time and I go to this one child who is a little fussy. Well I’m not there more than 30 seconds and projectile vomits all over the cot, all over the floor, all over herself and misses me by a millimeter. Poor thing. I try to console her as my coworker has to now rid the room of the cot and the rug and toys. I’ve gotten peed, pooped, and vomited on in my time as a daycare provider and I couldn’t ask for a better job. Missing them during this quarantine.

Back in the 2000-2001 school year my mom was pregnant with me (she had already been teaching for about 13 years by then). I believe she was teaching elementary school at the time, but one of her students would always tell her "I'm going to kill that baby" and would even hit her in the stomach sometimes. One day he had punched her in the face and threw a desk on her foot and broke it and that's when she finally decided to go on maternity leave. This was back when misbehaving students only got a small discipline and no one really cared, especially where she was teaching. Thank god she was ok and that I didn't develop any issues.

My chemistry teacher put me and a good buddy together as lab partners. We were doing an experiment where you get gas and make bubbles and then light those bubbles on fire with a candle on a stick. Basically we both almost set one another on fire. My partner would also burn paper towels and pencils with the Bunsen burner and there were several times when she got scared and dropped the paper towel or pencil on the table and I had to put it out. For whatever reason my chemistry teacher never caught her setting stuff on fire 😂

One time when I was teaching preschool a little girl kept waking up from nap time crying and nobody knew why cause she would go back to sleep and then she woke up and she looked pale so I was like “do you have to go to the potty” and she just stared at me crying and so I pick her up and start to carry her to the bathroom to pee but halfway there she starts throwing up so the I am in the middle of nap time running her to the bathroom and then of course she cried even louder so all the other kids woke up and she didn’t want to stay in the bathroom but we made her cause we didn’t want her throwing up everywhere else. I still love that girl til this day even though she threw up all over my hands 🙃.So yeah that’s my horror story.
