Great, clear video with excellent precise training demonstrated. Great use of the Manners Minder too! Thank you.

You can simply use a clicker and a bag of your own treats. The treat dispenser you see in the video is Dr. Yin's own invention, which acts as a clicker and treat dispenser. You can replicate both by using a zip lock bag and clicker training your dog. As for the "touch command", it's a very useful command that is easy to teach. The channel Kikopup has a video on teaching touch.

Hello can I do this with a nervous dog

I don't see the point of transition that would cause a dog to go from touching the toy to picking it up and also carrying it. Can you elaborate please?

How can I teach my dog to play fetch? when I leave the toy on the floor, my dog will just chase it and sniff it, but not making an effort to pick it up from the floor. I ve seen many videos, but unfortunately, most of the dogs does it automatically after playing a while with the toy. What should I do?

Two Questions: how did your dog learn to touch objects you present with his nose? and secondly will tiny pieces of liver be a fine treat? I mean If i give my dogs a treat 10 times a day for behaving in a desired way will it harm them?

I have a little Chihuahua that needs to lose about 2 lbs. You keep giving your dog treats. How can you do that when your dog needs to cut down the amount of food each day? She loves treats, but I'm trying not to give her hardly any now. What should I give her?

We use the dogs' food as their training treats. Food is measured out and dispensed for successful completion of a trick and for calm behaviours. In this blog posting, Dr. Yin lays out the basics of the program. drsophiayin.com/blog/entry/the-learn-to-earn-program-implementing-the-program

How can I get my yorkie-poo to stop barking so much....and to stop peeing in the house after I take her outside. Please help!

Hi, sorry you're having this problem. I have a range of articles on this topic and while every dog is an individual, you may find the beginning of answers on training your dog about barking by reading them.

I don't have that treat dispenser. And, my dog has no problem "touch"-ing the ball, in fact he will quickly bite the ball and won't return it unless i forcefully take it out from his mouth. However, when I have treats in my hand, he will automatically come to me and drop the ball wherever he was playing with it. Do you have a simpler and better method?
@464028012 жыл бұрын
mind you this video is only for dogs who have a drive to chase stuff or bite on things. my dog doesnt pick up shit.
