I’m planning on binging your videos. I was always the fastest or one of the fastest players on the soccer field but I feel I’ve lost a step as I’ve aged 38. Playing against guys in their 20’s I need to get it back.

So how can you tell if you’re using your hips to drive through as opposed to simply lifting your knees?

Your videos dont pop up, no notification etc. You posting it on twitter definitely helped. I always had the feeling I understood you perfectly but this time I got confused. Maybe im overthinking the correcting pushing off part. Still great content!

Are you saying actively trying to pull the femur up would only limit the horizontal projection angle, at the ACC Phase? So I should have a higher contact time while and only focus on extending legs though my glute while maintaining a forward leaning posture? No thinking about negative foot speed, piston like switching? The foot lands directly under the hip in order to have the best/longest time to generate the forward movement extending fully, not in the front because it would make you have to wait till you could push off again, or could it also be beneficial in some cases with the right amount of friction with spikes etc. to land slightly in front and use the hamstrings to pull you more? Im sorry if this a mess Les, you definetly dont have answer anything, your videos helping out with the visual part a lot. Seeing charts in books with pictures 1,2,3..n is just not even close to you showing it with your guys.
