You’re doing SO well speaking to him everyday! At his age he’s a sponge because he’s watching you and your husband converse in English and you speak French to him. His brain is going to fluently speak both languages. He’ll just pick them up 😁 So happy that you stuck with it and got a chance to see the fruits of your labor. Lâche pas ma belle. C'est simple à cette âge jusqu'à ses 6ans il à la capacité d'apprendre plus de 4 langues. C'est incroyable. Parle lui uniquement en français et tato en anglais, ducoup il aura le juste equible entre les cours en anglais et le Français à la maison avec maman quant il commencera l'école. tu seras étonné du résultat quand il grandira😊😊. Félicitations il comprends bien . Je fais pareil avec mon fils . Je suis française mais j’ai voulu l’initier à l’espagnol depuis bébé j’ai commencé à lui parler régulièrement en espagnol. Aujourd’hui il a deux et il comprends la majorité de ce que je lui dis . C’est assez impressionnant. Yes Babies can learn different languages if you teach him now while he is young. Some of my students speak 2 or 3 languages. He may need to learn Spanish too to speak with his dad s family too. Great parents you are both. Pam

Je suis comme toi. Born in a Jamaican family in Jamaica then at 8 years moves to Québec, Canada which is completely french, à l'école en français et a la maison in English. 3:44 Exactement, tous les emplois que j'ai eu c'est grace au fait que je bilingue. Coucou j’habite actuellement en Belgique et je fais pareil je parle anglais avec mes enfants. Continue à le faire même si un jour il décidera d’arrêter il aura au moins les bases et on ne sait pas de quoi est fait la vie ça pourra lui servir dans le milieu professionnel ou tout simplement dans ses relations. Courage maman c’est pas évident, moi j’ai essayé avec le néerlandais mais on est que entouré des francophone et j’ai tendance à oublier mais l’anglais c’est quelque chose qu’ils ont commencé à parlé naturellement donc je suis partie sur cette base là

Keep trying speak French to the child and dad in English. Lots of families do it that way. Do not give up. Have alternative reading days one day did reads English books and you French. Don't give up you and one day who knows, you will also afford private french lessons. You're doing great.

You do very good to learn your little boy a second language 👍❤️ He will get a whole language “for free” so to speak! My children was also learning 3 languages when they was small (as my husband and I came from two different countries and we also had English like the 3rd language between ourselves!) it took a while before they spoked all the languages fluently, but wow did it came out good in the end 👍And today my children also have learned new languages at school (like German, Spanish and other foreign languages!) So they can understand and speak 5 languages fluently (and some other languages as well, but maybe not fully!) It’s really a huge gift you are giving your son and he will appreciate it when he grows up 👍❤️ You are a excellent mom 👍❤️

Mon père était français et ma mère était anglaise, donc je parlais anglais en grandissant, sauf si j'étais avec mes grands-parents qui ne parlaient que français. I know you all live in the DMV area and there are French and Spanish schools on Saturdays. Now it won’t be Spanish and French dialects of your respective native countries but it’s another avenue for him to learn when he gets older

Im so proud of you , and don't get discouraged, in many hispanic households they speak only spanish to their kids and the kids never ever study spanish formally or anything, and the kids still are able to grow up bilingual. It also depends on a person's intelligence and we can all tell that Enzo is very intelligent, so I truly can see and believe he is going to be extremely fluent in French as well with just you speaking to him french
