@DoRC Жыл бұрын
Yeah the shock standoffs are one of the biggest weak points on it. You can get Arrma M2C standoffs and with very mild modifications make them fit. I have a how to in my video on my XTR.

@@DoRC I modified some Ti ones from Ramjam racing. They run a bigger screw, just had to drill out the center hole on the shock covers slightly and shorten the standoff a smidge. Probably simular to what you did.

I don't have any experience with the team magic. I would pass on the Muraco though because even the most up-to-date version of it really doesn't compare to the modern TC cars like the Kagama.

@@christianhvidt6823 Yeah the radix is based on the first generation of vehicles they made and definitely had some weak points. I'm surprised that you're breaking the Asuga a lot. It does have a couple of weak points such as shock mounts but those are pretty easily remedied by upgrading to unfortunately Arrma parts. In general though I find that the TC vehicles are pretty durable and certainly have better aluminum than Arrm. That being said the Typhon is one of the most durable out of the box RTR vehicles ever made so it's definitely a high bar to compare to

Lol you love your kraton that much huh , I have arrma parts for life thanks to the kraton , been through a handful , have one new still on the shelf and one that’s TYPHON straight cut diffs arms dog bones and kraton axles , truggy buggy or Mojave wheels 🛞, why ? Because no matter how good you are with tuning diffs there wear or break , that said still a favorite rc just it really can be a money pit , my first one I constantly changed pinion and ring gear till I realized you have to change the diff cases after a while , aluminum of course is better but just means last longer .
@RcPlayer-tt2vw Жыл бұрын
The team c. Electronics are really good , even though it was my first esc to go up in smoke lol , I probably pushed it too much , I ran it with 26 46 gearing with lots of cooling , weird thing is I ruined the pinion so I threw a standard 18t or something and didn’t even get warm before it went up . Now everyone knows how good they are and the price we might as well just go with hobbywing
@DoRC Жыл бұрын
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw TC electronics are better, TC aluminum is better, TC bodies are more durable, in general the TC differentials are very good etc. TC cars also handle better out of the box. The main places that arrma excel Are the shocks and shock mounts aftermarket support and parts support. After bashing the Asuga I absolutely think this car could be superior to the kraton

💭🤔 I had the kagama the longest and drove it the least it has the least amount of miles on it and something’s always breaking on it. I have yet to get through a full battery pack compared to my Arrma’s the one I drove the lease the amount of times have a total of 19 battery packs through it and still have not broken anything but every time I get the kagama fixed something break in less than 20 minutes At first, it was the ESC blowing up a big white cloud or smoke catching fire then it was the servo had to be replaced then the servo arm broke now that has a leaky center diff which sounds like the gears are grinding. I emailed the company and it took them more than 30 days to respond, and they was not willing to honor the warranty at all again will I ever spend a penny with Team Corally but I do think them for helping me make my mind up with my 6s lineup. 😆😂😂 Arrma tough 🤛🏽🦾💪🏽, 🫡💯🔥
