It is insane how this is the *best* adaptation and showing of the Kikoho ever. The intensity of the voice acting is higher than that of the Japanese with the pronunciation and terminology better than the dub. All the while the additional sound effects on the zoom in and blasts give it more impact than any other version. Even with the comedy introduced of Roshi hearing it a few islands over this was way more intense than any of the official showings.

Cell tended to not kill his targets the first moment he had the chance (See: Not killing Vegeta and Trunks immediately after reaching perfect state, The Cell games, etc.). If he did absorb 18 at that point, he probably would have gone right on to challenging everyone at the Cell games and waiting a few days for people to train like +Broken Monkey (BrokenMonkey) pointed out.

FilterExel I disagree. The fact that he gave them 7 days to prepare for Cell Games was due to the fact Vegeta gave him some pounding and impressed him (I assume). So Cell decided to try them all. If he was Perfect Cell right away, he wouldn't have much noticed an interest in anyone to begin with. So I think Tien's effort was not futile!
