But the mastering on their CDs is diabolical. A well mastered CD should have a dynamic range of 12 +. This recent one is 5 😮. No dynamics at all. No subtlety. Just a mush of sound where everything is the same volume. Listening on headphones is headache inducing. Nasty

Roland and Curt have pulled off the Robert Smith trick. Vocally they still sound just as spectacular as they did back in the 80’s. I love this band!!!

My favorite band ever, changed my life. Whenever I fall into my depressive episodes I listen to them and they help me view the world as beautiful again, as if they reach out their hands and pull me out of that dark place. Thank you Tears for Fears for everything💙

Here's a band (that I have loved for years) that hasn't solely rested on the laurels of a couple of great 80s hits (that are still relevant). They continue to produce exceptional new music, have really honed their live performance chops and are definitely relevant in 2024!! Keep it up!!

Saw The tipping Point concert film last week and it was absolutely fantastic! Just absolutely flawless! Their voices and other vocalists with them every single band member the whole sound for every single song-- just fabulous! I got to see them when it was Roland Orzabal for the Elemental tour and that was amazing too!

Around 40 years ago, I saw them in Montreal on their first tour, the ambiance was explosive in the St-Denis theater, everyone knew the lyrics of each songs, dancing standing on my seat's arms to be able to see them, one of the greatest souvenirs of my teens✌️👍

I saw Tears for Fears on the SONGS FROM THE BIG CHAIR tour in 1985 in Los Angeles CA and Atlanta GA for the SEEDS OF LOVE tour in 1990 at Six Flags! I saw Curt solo in Sacramento CA in 93 and Roland on the Raoul and the Kings of Spain tour in 96 in San Francisco CA! AWESOME SHOWS FROM AN AWESOME GROUP!

I remember being at their second private showcase on 6th June 1982 at Tiffany's Club in Bath. An invited audience of about 25. They played for 25 minutes. Manny had the 'click' coming from a 1.4 inch Revox tape machine. No a word was said to the audience. It didn't need to be. No encore. No need. Note perfect. The baby had been born. Then I met them again when they bought a Fairlight Series III CMI. We swapped sounds and user 'tricks'. Nice.

these guys never quit making great music, people stopped listening. i wished they had paired with more artists like oleta adams for their vocals. love collaborative music from the greats, their egos are what causes them to fall when they feel they are great with out lending a hand to the next generations and to the preceding generations on their way out. tears for fears with roy orbison and tom petty would have been legend. tears for fears with serebro and madison beer would also be legend
