The Current Exchange specializes in converting classic Porsches into fully electric vehicles. Using the Ampere EV Atom Drive System, this classic build retains all of the original Porsche body and interior while bringing the performance and innovation of a brand-new electric powertrain. This car will debut at Electrify Expo in Long Beach, CA on May 20-21, 2023!
The Atom Drive EV conversion system produces 330 Nm (243 lb.-ft) of torque and 220kW (295 HP) of power. Ampere EV Atom Drive Systems are plug & play and include all of the components necessary to perform an EV conversion on an ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicle. Features include but are not limited to fully calibrated systems that require no additional programming or mapping, advanced safety features for the high voltage system, system diagnostics, software updates, proprietary battery packs in modular form (42 or 84 kWh), CCS (Combined Charging System) fast charging, an eight-inch touchscreen interface, air conditioning and power steering. Atom Drive systems are engineered for ICE conversions, low volume EV production and in specialty electric powertrain/industrial applications.
