Great videos. FYI, my friend, exercise does not release CNS endorphins. It does increase systemic BDNF (a contraction-induced protein) that passes through the BBB and increases dendritic arborization, a marker that correlates with the resolution of depression and more flexible thinking.

I had an interesting visual effect happen when attempting to do green kasina meditation that I now use as neurofeedback. I started out staring at a blade of grass and focused on the green color. After just a few minutes the whole yard seemed to be filled in with the clump of grass that was around the blade I was focused on ; it was like using the clone tool in photoshop. The tiling would shift from small/many tiles to larger/fewer tiles. I thought that trying to maintain the tighter pattern would be a way to exercise my attention since it would provide visual feedback. At the same time, I would still try to think about the color green and imagine a wall of green in front of me. After doing a few sessions, another effect started happening. The grass would go turn more yellow and then kind of dim/gray, then it would start to glow white. This occurs in cycles. After about 10 minutes, it stops happening and I'm back to only the 'clone tool' effect. I guess there's some neurotransmitter that gets depleted at that point.

At our clinic since 1997 we have been using full neurofeedback training, which is not a wearable. We have found that HRV home training to be very helpful to our clients. We now ask clients at home to use the Heart Math Innerbalance, which can be used with the app inner balance on the phone, clipped to the ear. The feedback is the breathing pacer goes green when good HRV coherence is reached. Also the EMwave, with the thumb, has been around for 20 years. For golf you may find the old youtubes teaching EMwave HRV to medium golfers interesting. Lots of literature showing learning to go green (high coherence) and then using it when you go to hit the ball (there is an ear clip) leads to 20% improvements overall. Thank you for talking about the pulseto, didnt know it was around. As you will know they are looking into blocking injections into the stellate ganglion block. Seems to me stimulating this has promise.

It would be amazing to have full immersion experiences available for home use - I’m still waiting for the Opus soundbed to be delivered - how cool would it be to stack fully immersive neuro sensory experiences and hypnosis to help recover from trauma and of course for productivity and brain 🧠 health ❤

As someone who is a very consistent and long term meditator I have a muse device and although I have thousands of hours meditating with the muse device it definitely isn’t very accurate with some of the deeper meditation experiences. The brainwaves science is fun and interesting but as you dive deeper into meditation the very act of trying to track it keeps my brain distracted haha 😆. The power of non attachment and letting go of the world in meditation definitely helps. I still use the headband for at least 30 minutes a day but I truly like no devices for real peace. I do think in terms of teaching people about triggers and anxiety and such it’s good to see what that looks like on paper but also definitely not necessary for healing and meditation.

Hi Dr. Cody, thank you for your presentations, I am a psychotherapist specializing in Psycho Spiritual integration of Awakening experiences. Do you know of any VR with biofeedback that can control the Audio Visual Entrainment to move the brain in to various states such as Alpha (8 to 10 Hz) Beta (12 to 40 Hz)Delta (1 to 4 Hz)Theta (4 to 7 Hz) Gamma (40 to 70 Hz) Sort of like the Kasina Light & Sound DeepVision™with Ganzfeld Frames, or David's Delight Pro but with VR and Biofeedback, were the biofeedback controls the patterns and the speed and colors of the flashing lights, creating a journey through the different mind states so that one can recognize when one is in theta, or alpha, or delta state, for example? I'd like to know if you can cheat with any of these devices; Like can you take them off and put them around a plant and achieve the same results (i.e. not actually reliable) like you can with the ones that clip to your ear lobe in the past. One woman on youtube demonstrated how the Muse cannot tell the difference between a person concentrating on peaceful meditation and doing intense office work on their computer. Considering I have induced out of body experiences with single focus meditation IRL and want to continue improving this ability, knowing if these headbands actually work for single focus is VERY important to me for choosing which one I will buy next!

What are your thoughts on amofit VS pulsetto for vagus nerve stimulation, I was looking at both and ended up getting amofit because it looked like they had more studies on its use and Im able to sleep with it on

Nope, this is talking about CIA with security clearances to use remote mind control by satellite and use satellite directed energy weapons. Often with the AFB support in Colorado.

that was really weird. I want to KZbin and before I typed in biofeedback I saw this video pop up . synchronicity idk? I have brain disease and abnormal brain waves I heard about biofeedback before I was using AI poe to do some research and biofeedback was on there. I would like to get into this biohacking. I've had chronic issues for 19 years and not getting any younger Maybe if I can start hacking maybe something positive can come out of it.

In general the concept is not the best; It is rather expected that it will only be a reading of the neuronal frequencies, not inducing them... because: it is invasive, in the sense of starting the brain's ability to learn, for example, we plan to go towards deep meditation, theta waves, and through an element, vibrating when we move away from the purpose: this is how we truly train so that the BRAIN LEARNS to generate these states, when we do not have the element of neurofeedback vs. neurostimulation, which is desirable. With an ideal device like this, we would go, why not, to the state of ENLIGHTENMENT. The feedback referred to can be either visual, auditory or sensory, better yet: triple feedback! ✨🙂💭❗✅

Doc! I love your channel, but the pulsetto is not FDA approved and they make claims the device can treat pain l, and anxiety and head pain. And l you promoting a unapproved device to treat insomnia (sleep setting). Also, you are are a physician and you know that it’s only an electrical impulse delivered, to say there’s different settings to treat pain, head pain, anxiety, and sleep a.k.a. insomnia is Ludicrous because the device only gives one electrical current and the only other variable is time so it’s also false advertising with illegal claims, you are physician that is now promoting this device and it is not approved for any medical intervention or treatment. Not so great.I was a medical device national expert investigator for the FDAfor the last 22 years. There is a reason you have to prove effectiveness for any devices going to treat medical conditions. It goes back to 1920 with a snake oil sales to treat all medical conditions. Etc etc. Please be careful of the devices claim as when you were presenting the videos as I love your content.

Really disgusting that there are channels like this designed to prey on such vulnerable populations. There are people with very real mental health challenges that will watch this video and purchase one of these useless scam products in the desperate hope of getting better. Shame on you and shame on youtube for giving you a platform

The greatest tech for your brain is finding the best porn that fulfills your requirements, sitting alone and undisturbed while going to town. The refresh will give you a brief window of motivation where you quickly must act upon it or else you will become sluggish and want to nap, slowly forgetting and distancing yourself from productivity.

Pfft. We need a common sense one. Or, better logic. A stfu one would be really useful. A mute button to help people not say stupid things. Let's put technology to productive use.
