I'll add my unsolicited advice for those entering adulthood: Take care of your health! Seriously. I'm sure you've heard it thousands of times already from your parents and you probably roll your eyes at them. When you're young, you're usually pretty healthy and fairly resilient. But as you age, your body slows down. And you often don't realize it. You can go many years having a bad lifestyle without realizing anything is wrong until you get that one rude awakening. So while you're young, take care of yourself. Don't eat too much junk food, get enough rest and exercise. Remember that some exercise is better than no exercise at all. Live a moderate life style and go to your regular doctor checkups. Address things when they start so that they don't get worse later on. And definitely don't waste money on useless crap. You don't need to buy a new phone every year. Don't feel obligated to get the latest just because everyone has the newest phone or car or watch or whatever nonsense. Money comes and goes, but you want to be smart about what you spend it on. Live within your means.

If its not right for you then I understand but your videos got me in to bc building and taught me a large part of what I know and still do. Setup wars are so fun and great inspiration for my personal setup, your "How to Build a PC" tutorial was so helpful in building my first PC and all of your build lists have given me knowledge to help me to help my friends get in to PC building and stuff. Love the content but you have already left a legacy on youtube that will be there forever.

I'm originally from the Philippines but I live in Idaho, I've been subscriber for about 5 - 7 years I believe. I forgot how many years but it's been forever lol. thank you Ed for everything! I watch your videos lots of time one of my favorite video is you title it '''''You won’t believe how cheap this PC build was'''' you were buying used pc parts for the build. It's my favorite because you literally in front of my apartment and I can't really believe that day and I was so amazed (I moved in Granada Hills 2 years ago) I unfortunately I was sleeping that time because I work night shift. I really wish I got a chance to say Hi to you that time, or at least see you in person. I actually been looking forward that one day I will see you at Walmart or Starbucks in Porter, ''I know it because I see them in your videos'' still looking forward for it but unfortunately It's never gonna happen now. I move back to Idaho. Anyways thanks Ed!! I wish I can show you my dream gaming and you we're part of it when I'm building my Pc it's not fancy but I love it.

I just want to take a moment to say this: thank you, Ed. I've been watching your content since early 2018. If I remember correctly, the "building a gaming PC with a subscriber" video was the first one I watched on your channel. Man, I really enjoyed those videos. I also remember that someone sold the entire setup you built for him from Setup Makeover Season 1, and that really sucked. Fast forward to 2020, I finally saved enough money to build my first PC, and your channel was my go-to resource for learning. I felt I could trust your guides, and I'm so happy everything worked out well. I've been using the same PC ever since! From the office robbery, moving from your old place to your current one, the sofa you ordered for your new house not matching the color, to the birth of your first child, and then your second..so many things you've shared with us through this channel. To many of us, you feel like a brother. We've watched your journey from being just a guy with a passion to now being a husband and a father to two beautiful children. No matter what you choose to do in the future, I wish you continued success. Happy New Year in advance, Ed!

@12:05 I felt so weak at that time seeing you in need of help, but people started to accuse you with terrible things, and I was only capable of going through your videos and liking them all even the ones I missed as I told myself it might help your views by a little, at that time I wished if I was in a near country so I could send you gear or something but my country was in bad situation so that was the best I could do, and I'm so happy that you went through it and it made you wiser, stronger & the Ed that you are today 👊 My dad always reminded me to plan for bad situations, the saying in Arabic but it is like: "Save your white penny for a rainy day." and it means to save resources (usually money) for future times of need or unexpected difficulties. May Allah guide you to the right path.

before i even watch, i feel like i need to take a minute to say: from the bottom of my heart ed, thank you for everything. growing up watching you build absolutely ridiculous and over the top PCs while also sharing with me and i can imagine many other young aspiring PC enthusiasts the knowledge and the power behind PC gaming before it became the new norm. i started watching your videos when i was 9 or 10. i'm 18 now, in that time span i've built multiple of my own computers and done builds and upgrades for friends/family, graduated from high school, and now work at best buy as a sales advisor, where i help people everyday with tech stuff. i genuinely couldn't be happier with where this community has taken me and how far the tech has progressed in the last 5 years. it was truly a blessing to be apart of a rising community and now being the guy that everyone goes to for computer stuff, gaming or not. so again, Ed, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for everything you have done for me. it truly transcends beyond the tech or the content surrounding it, there was enough rally behind it thanks to people like you that now i can make a career and life out of it. thank you so much again and good luck in the future my friend. ❤❤❤
