Yeah, my CA Big Tech company has Chief Diversity & Inclusion VP doing the same discrimination crap too despite CA's Equal Opportunity constitution (that they're trying hard to repeal, i.e. Prop 16). They're very careful not to put down these discriminatory policies anywhere on paper but the hiring pressure is so strong, so they'd pick up ANYONE that checks the right diversity marks (even hiring without an open position). The unlucky groups will get those idiotic diversity hires that know they're a valued statistic that can plainly refuse to do any useful work. This is what you get when you fight racism with more racism.

I am disabled, physically limited, and I can testify from experience that it’s extremely hard to get hired when you are disabled. It’s not my fault my crazy old landlord lit my rental house on fire in the middle of the night and I had to jump out a two and a half story window to save my kids (who were 3 & 1/2 & 12 days old) lives. All I want is for a business to give me a chance and they look at me like a liability. 😔

Sisters neighbor a VET with ptsd.. He was an E-5 cook.. He gets $4800 a month tax free.. For life or until his 4 kids turn 21.. Then reduced to $3600 .. He can work full time job on top of it.. Plus if he gets laid off he collects unemployment tax free.. He goes through jobs because of ________ Fill in the blank excuse.. Too hot outside, Too cold inside.. People or coworkers he doesnt like.. Any excuse.. Average job lasts 2 weeks.. And they are good paying Jobs..

@@Butchsiek Must be nice to that to fall back on. I really wish I wasn’t severely physically limited. All I get a month to live off from Social Security is $861. Mind you, that’s for me and my two kids. Divorced, single, can barely afford rent, and the car insurance for my “hoop-tee” vehicle. FYI - that house fire I was in happened 10 years ago and have had 6 surgeries that haven’t been able to fix me yet. I am thankful for the program, but I’d rather be physically abled, have a good paying job, and not live paycheck to paycheck. With inflation now, I really have no clue how we are going to survive.
