Even in my first watch and now still, I can never be fully happy when they win. The anime does such a great job at establishing other teams, and the hardships they had to get to this stage, that whenever Karasuno wins, I get that bittersweet feeling, that yeah.... they won, but the other team lost. I can't really explain it, it is just.... ahhh.

4:15...Oh yeah!! The voice actor of Jozenji's "Terushima" is the same person as "Hanma" of Tokyo Revengers. And, as you may know, the voice actor of "Tanaka" is the same person as "Mikey"😉

honestly i don’t mind the black bar, so if it will make things much easier for you then you should use it whenever you need to! especially because you made it a little transparent it didn’t bother me at all, and i can’t speak for everyone else but i’ve already seen the episodes so many times that as long as i can still clearly see what’s happening and read the subtitles then it’s easy to follow along with your reaction and great reaction teddy!! season 2 is my favorite and i’m really looking forward to seeing you react to the rest of the season.. all the episodes are so interesting

It's amazing that you found out! The voice actor of Terushima of Jozenji High School is the same person as Hanma of Tokyo Revengers! Although they have different personalities, they are both my favorite characters ♡

Regarding Ishikawa's serves, usually servers like him and Nishida are given the go ahead to go all out with his serves, since they have a good chance of getting an ace. In men's volleyball especially, giving an easy serve in almost guarantees an easy point for the opponents, so they'd rather you go all out for the ace and miss occasionally than give easy serves all the time. For the players who jump float (the middle blockers, Sekita and Fujii sometimes for the Japan team) they're expected to get the ball in more consistently but to try to get a bad pass from the receive to throw them out of system.

First i wondered too about some servers missing a lot but after watching the olympics i think it's normal for all of them to go all out everytime, so you get 5 game sets with like 20+ points because of missed serves. Which is crazy at first but it makes sense because they payoff can be huge. But hinata missing normal serves, this guy better start practicing that :D

Two-on-two games are actually one of the fastest ways to improve a new volleyball player’s skills. You have to learn to receive and attack in the same play, and when the other teammate receives you have to learn to set properly. It’s a tried and true method for a lot of high level American highschool teams. Which explains why Johzenji is so good, but like you said, they can’t work as well as a 6-man team, because they’re all going for points and cool plays. Johzenji also is made up of players who are in other sports as their main focus, so they aren’t as worried about the tournament and just want to have fun initially, which is also very common in American highschool volleyball teams, hence the prominence of two-on-two games to build skills.
