As a christian, I am so sorry we have not made you feel warm around us. I am sorry we have taken Gods place and meted judgment upon you. I am sorry that we have not been the best example of Christs love. I am sorry we have pretended to be more righteous than Jesus. Congratulations!!!! A story is told about the Buddha and how after enlightenment he met a man who being struck by his radiance and sense of peace asked him: "My friend, what are you? Are you a god?" "No", the Buddha replied. "Are you a magician, a wizard?" Again the Buddha answered, "No". Perplexed, the man asked again "So what exactly are you?", the Buddha replied: "I'm awake". To finally be awake to who you truly are is a magical thing. Unfortunately so many of us use all of our time and energy focusing on others that we fail to awake to our own true self resulting in second hand empty lives that are trapped in norms that we have borrowed instead of norms cultivated from our own awakeness. GO Makena GO. More light to you.

I am sorry Makena, for the hatred and unkindness that has been meted on you. As a Christian I agree we should be motivated by love and care for all. However in consistent and faithfulness to Scripture it would be unloving not to call out the sin that the bible calls on gayism, if you are to identify with the faith, you have to be called out. And fidelity to Scripture is Paramount. There is a reason why Scripture only acknowledges gender as either male or female. And BTW we cannot all live our truths because there is no such thing, truth is independent of who we are we just have to abide by it or reject it. And if you ask what is truth and who determines it? Well that's a discussion for another day. My parting shortis an analogy, if my brother one day comes up to me and tells me he'd like to be a pastor and has two wives, just because he feels so and is able to do so and he won't be hurting anyone, he'd still fail the biblical qualification, not because I hate him or have anything against him. Its simply because the bible is clear and says so. Sorry my long post has a Christian bias, because that's what I hear she identifies with.

Its not a christian bias, it is the truth. At the end of the day, does society define what truth is? Or is it the individual? My take, God defines what truth is since He I the author of it. Truth then isn't relative (your truth, my truth) truth by its very definition is absolute, and the truth about this issue, He has said its a sin. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing else.

There is eloquence, there is Boldness and then there is what is right, and none of this should imply the other. You can always say a bunch of wrong things or half-truths with a lot of Boldness. The moment you say you are Christian, then you acknowledge that you don't make the rules - Christ does. Our work is then to find out what rules He has set for us humans and to follow them. In the class of beginners, freedom is doing what you want, in the class of seniors, freedom is the ability to do what is right.

I remember during the last repeal 162 case hearing. We went there and God gave us victory. He did not allow homosexuality to become legal in Kenya. But in celebrating He kept saying one thing. 'I love them too'. Even in celebration God kept reminding us to show love to the people who came expecting victory. So we do need to show love but that does not mean accepting something that God has condemned. There are people who have been set free from homosexuality and they are testimonies today. For the true Christian who understands, stand in prayer and nullify deception from Kenya. That the light of Christ shines in the darkness and overcomes it

You are bold indeed, but hapo kwa asking her where is she and him where is he, aai it's ungodly truth be told mimi haijaniingia poa. But you know what I pray for you that this same boldness will glorify God and I tell you,you will have a place to impact generation well well.

Everything is mental. I like your boldness. Otherwise the real truth of who you are comes from God. Nothing else can change that truth. You can only become what you have constantly think you are but that won't change who you are. This opinion comes with love. God loves you and He made you the way you are for a reason. Kindly dont change.

You've discovered who you are and have embraced yourself, that's what matters. Being real to yourself is all you need. To all the earthlings that judge you, talking of sin, may be its time they took time to study all of God's creation with a more keen eye. Meanwhile just go on being you, positive vibrations

Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

As a mother to a girl and a boy, I disagree on the part of girls being asked to play with dolls and boys with cars. My kids are different & have different preferences. That statement negates everything you are fighting against. Prejudice and discrimination has many facets. This is one of them. Your experience should not be used to make blanket condemnation of every parent and society at large. In fighting to live your truth, you don't turn to be the oppressor. Finally, I hope one day everyone will be as bold as you are. Free to be themselves despite what the society thinks.
