He is on point!! In 2008 I quit smoking. It took me a year to quit. Starting October 2007 every single day after work I would stand in front of my mirror WITH a lit cigarette and say “ I am not a smoker” I am not a smoker” “ I don’t smoke”. One day I went to light a Newport and couldn’t do it...because “ I wasn’t a smoker”. Haven’t had a cigarette in 11 years!! NOW that I know that can work for “ I am __________”. I need to work on that!! I love to write and sew. I also enjoy lifting weights, but I think all of those activities are for people who are those things. I’m going to start saying “I am a writer” and “I am a weight lifting”everyday and see what happens. Great video!!

The Metaphor Of Thermostat 1. Don't be satisfied with less than you deserve. 2. Increase the effort not reduce the goal. 3. Don't make the goals small. 4. Learn from those who know more than you. 5. Don't settle for small, don't give up, do whatever it takes. 6. Make it clear, Decide - where you deserve to be . 7. It's all about how you see yourself. Don't Set Limits for yourself. He didn’t steal it, he learned it. As someone familiar with Mr. Proctor’s work, I have to say that Dan did an amazing job with his speech. You can’t just pretend and expect to inspire people with words you’ve learned from someone else. Dan has the ability to inspire and genuinely touch people. He’s a great speaker. By the way, Bob Proctor often says, “I have a right to brag about all of this because none of it is mine.” What do you think? Would Bob consider it stealing if someone used his ideas, or would he be grateful that his words are being shared with the masses, like in this audience? The purpose of his work was to help others improve their lives, not to claim ownership or feed his ego. And by the way, all of this information Bob Proctor learned from books and his mentors, one of which is *Psycho-Cybernetics* by Maxwell Maltz. He also encouraged everyone to read it themselves. Nothing in this world truly belongs to us. Life is short, so make sure you're living it the way you want, and stop worrying about what others are doing-especially if they’re inspiring people for the better.
