It highlights how dreams can turn true if one stays true to their cause. The speaker shares her inspiring journey from the slums of Karachi to the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, the most prestigious business school of Pakistan.
Afreen Mushtaq is a sophomore at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi. She is a National Talent Hunt Program (NTHP) Scholar, currently enrolled in the Bachelors of Business Administration degree program. She is the face of Pakistani society where women have the courage to bring about change. Afreen Mushtaq is a student at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. She is pursuing her degree in Bachelor of Business Administration. She is an IBA National Talent Hunt Program scholar that enables her to continue her education on a 100% scholarship. She graduated from an not-for-profit school. In 2015, her hard work and dedication led her to become a “school representative” and was sent to the USA. She finds herself indebted to the society for the hurdles it placed in her way. She believes that these hurdles played an important role in making her strong and independent because they compelled her to gather the courage to go against the tide. Her being rebellious towards the obstacles has now become a part of her. This thought inculcates in her a sense of giving back to the community.
